JLab JBuds Lux ANC — My Honest Review

This is the fourth time I’ve ordered the Jlab Jbuds Lux anc a nd this one for myself. My Jbl live 770nc ear cups are badly damaged, and since there was sale going on, I decided to geta jlab for myself One more baby in my collection 😅. If I talk about the sound, honestly, I don’t think any headphones come close to these under 5k They are slightly loud too, and 40mm drivers are more than capable of delivering good sound. The sound feels nicely separated , so vocals, instruments and bass don’t all feel like they’re mixed together, bass is little boosted, which I personally like, and the highs are good too. The mids are okay, nothing special, but overall the sound is really enjoyable for the price. The app is decent, not the best, but you do get multi band Eq to play around with according to your taste and preference, Spatial audio is also there, but honestly, I don’t find it that useful. You can notice a slight difference, but nothing crazy. I also noticed that they sound little better when connected through cable, although I’m not going to make any big hiRes audio claims coz I couldn’t find about it on the box or website. Anc is the weakest, but it’s not terrible either. It’s not the best, but it’s definitely not the worst. It’s around 30/35dB, so I’d say it’s just okayish. And be aware mode (Transparency Mode) makes everything sound slightly artificial and robotic. Coming to the build quality, they are mostly plastic, but they definitely don’t feel cheap or less premium. One small Con - issue is that you can sometimes hear a little creaking from the plastic when moving or adjusting them. I haven’t faced it with this new pair yet, but my sister’s Jlab had the same issue and it went away after using them regularly fora few days Overall, the best headphones.

...I’ve noticed that a lot of guyz, especially college students and young people, ask me for headphone recommendations, so I’d say don’t blindly trust anyone’s recommendation, including mine. Everyone has different preferences when it comes to sound, comfort, and fit, so if you have any doubt, try the headphones yourself before spending your money. And don’t buy a pair of headphones just coxz you see a lot of people wearing them or coz many are talking about them. What works for one person might not work for you, so pick something that actually suits your ears, your usage, and your budget. Hope this helps. God bless, buddies Wishing you all the best and lots of success in life.Tc
