Motorcycle crash on I-5 North near Chuckanut Drive exit 8/8/26
A motorcycle passed us in the right lane on I-5 North in Washington state near the Chuckanut Drive exit at around 4:00 pm yesterday, 8/8/26, going probably at least 100 MPH. Within probably less than 2 minutes we came up stopped and stopping traffic. The motorcycle was lying wrecked in the far left lane and the motorcyclist was lying face-down in the far right lane, showing a bare back covered with blood. There were already a couple of people around him; one seemed to be checking his neck for a pulse and another appeared to be making a call. We can’t find anything about this crash on Google, Claude, WADOT or anywhere else. Does anyone know anything more about the crash and/or the condition of the motorcyclist?
