PASSED CA REAL ESTATE SALESPERSON EXAM FIRST TRY!!!!

Can you tell I'm excited? I have been postponing this for a year now, but I'm so happy I passed!

Context:
I have no background in RE, but I took the three courses through a community college outside of my undergraduate courses and during the summer after I graduated. I applied to take the exam last year and mustered up the courage to actually sign up for an exam two months ago. I was studying on and off, but was really consistent the last two months.

Prep:

The amount of vocabulary is overwhelming and very daunting, but dividing my study sessions by the DRE categories really helped me break it down. I had RE Exam Pro, and that was really helpful with practice questions. I wish the vocabulary bank was divided into the categories instead of alphabetically. I honestly didn't look at that page lol.

During the last two weeks, I had Claude give me rounds of 10 questions across the categories. This helped me because I didn't have time to sit down and do the full exam, but I got plenty of practice. IF YOU HAVE TIME, TAKE FULL PRACTICE EXAMS OR MAKE TIME. It will help build stamina for the real exam.

After each round, I would make a note of what I got wrong and why. After a few rounds, I asked Claude to make questions on topics I missed, and it really helped me have the vocab click.

You really have to know how to apply the vocab!!!!

For math, there were no calculation questions, but there were questions about formulas, so definitely understand those.

LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS!! This is not an easy exam, and it really requires you to understand the vocabulary and its application. There were moments during the exam where I thought I was going to fail. Just always take a deep breath and focus on one question at a time.

Let's go!!
