Disappearance of Tyler Wagaman
Tyler Wagaman, 33, of Greenwood, Indiana, remains missing after last being seen in the early morning hours of June 15, 2026.
According to his brother, Tyler’s disappearance is especially out of character. Tyler lived a quiet, predictable life centered around work, home, and video games. His family believes he likely left home around 3:00 a.m. because he intended to meet someone or travel to a specific destination, as there would have been few other reasons to be driving at that hour. His brother has emphasized there was no argument or falling out between them before Tyler disappeared.
Known Timeline
• June 14 (11:05 p.m.): Tyler left his mother’s home and was captured by a Flock camera traveling south on Emerson Avenue toward his Greenwood apartment.
• June 15 (3:23 a.m.): His truck was captured traveling west on Southport Road near Bluff Road.
• 3:28 a.m.: Seen heading south on Mann Road near Landersdale Road.
• Around 3:30 a.m.: Arrived at the Circle K near State Road 144 and I-69, where he reportedly remained for approximately 15–20 minutes before purchasing about $60 in fuel.
• Witnesses believe he then left the gas station quickly.
• 4:23 a.m.: Flock cameras captured his truck traveling east on Kentucky Avenue near Mann Road.
• 4:25 a.m.: A private security camera recorded his truck continuing east on Kentucky Avenue past Holt Road toward downtown Indianapolis.
• After this, neither Tyler nor his truck has been seen again.
Cell Phone Activity
Tyler’s phone later generated multiple pings near Hollybrook Road in Gosport, Indiana, in Owen County. Investigators and family members have noted that these were multiple pings rather than a single isolated one. However, there are no known phone pings between Greenwood and Gosport, and none in the Mars Hill area where his truck was last captured on camera, creating significant uncertainty about his movements.
Family members have also stated Tyler previously experienced issues with his phone that sometimes limited his ability to receive text messages unless connected to Wi-Fi, making the phone data more difficult to interpret.
Ongoing Questions
Several key questions remain unanswered:
• Why was Tyler driving through the Camby, Mann Road, Mars Hill, and Kentucky Avenue areas during the early morning hours?
• Was he meeting someone?
• Why did he spend approximately 15–20 minutes at the Circle K before leaving?
• How did his phone repeatedly appear in the Gosport area while his truck was last documented near Indianapolis?
• Where are Tyler and his black 2003 Ford F-150?
Investigators are also attempting to identify an object seen inside Tyler’s truck that appears to be either a DVD case or a video game case, believing it could provide clues about where he was headed or who he intended to meet.
I HAVE SHARED IMAGES OF THE ITEM FOUND IN TYLER’S TRUCK. BRIAN HAS SHARED THEM ON FACEBOOK, SEEKING THE PUBLIC’S HELP IN IDENTIFYING THIS ITEM.
Tyler’s family continues to ask anyone who may have seen him, his truck, or who has surveillance footage from the areas along his known route to contact law enforcement. They believe even the smallest detail could help explain what happened.
