I grew up in Mawlynnong and only later realized how special life here feels 🌿
Growing up in Mawlynnong, I never realized how unusual it was to see tourists from different parts of India and even other countries walking through our village almost every day.
Even though the village gets busy during the daytime, there’s still something exciting about the atmosphere here — the greenery, the local food, the sound of people exploring the village paths, and evenings becoming calmer once most visitors leave.
