Environmental DNA Detects Invasive Species in Gatineau Park Lakes
The Canadian Museum of Nature recently used environmental DNA sampling to collect baseline biodiversity data in Gatineau Park's 50 lakes, including the most remote. Using eDNA, they were able to detect both at-risk and invasive species to help inform conservation measures.
