Why Southeast direction is called fire zone? What is its significance?
Vastu experts call Southeast the Fire zone because according to Vastu principles, this direction is associated with fire zone. This isn’t about a physical flame. It represents every form of energy that creates heat, transformation and action.
Your home is a living body as shown:
The Southeast is like your stomach and metabolism—- it produces the energy that keeps everything running.
Our body needs healthy digestive fire to convert food into energy. In the same way our home needs a balanced fire zone to support activity and productivity.
Also fire represents transformation:-
Raw food becomes cooked.
Ideas become action.
Effort becomes results.
So , activities which involve heat and energy are placed here:- kitchen, cooking appliance, machinery and power system in commercial spaces.
Fire does not mean only flame. It represents:- Motivation,Confidence,decision making,digestion,electricity, technology.
Modern Vastu considers electric equipment’s, investors as a part of fire element.
Think of a gas stove:-
Too little flame— food remains uncooked.
Too much flame— food burns.
Balanced flame- food cooks perfectly.
The goal of Vastu is not to” more fire”— it’s balanced fire.
