Hi everyone!

I’m hoping to apply to UBC Nursing for the September 2027 intake and just wanted to clarify a few things about the admission requirements.

Do you need to have a completed bachelor’s degree to apply, or do you just need the 48 transferable non-nursing credits?

Also, when do the 48 credits need to be completed by? Do they need to be done before applying, or can some still be in progress?

And am I understanding this correctly: you need at least 48 transferable credits in total to be eligible, but UBC only looks at your most recent 30 transferable credits when calculating your admission average?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. I am a prospective applicant. I went straight into UBC Science from high school. I am currently in my second year in Science (undeclared major) and my first year GPA was disastrous (around 70%). I was wondering how will term 1+term 2 GPA in second year be factored in during admission and has anyone got in with a relatively lower GPA?
