Hey everyone! I found it surprisingly hard to find someone to share a hotel room with for residency weekends, so I tried some vibe coding and built a little website to help UC students find roommates and split hotel costs for a specific weekend.

You can post your booked hotel or look for a room to join. To help protect everyone’s privacy, you’ll need to sign in with ChatGPT and verify your UC email to view posts.

Check it out: https://roomies.zhuyifang.net

It’s still an early version, and I’d love your feedback! What would make it more useful? Let me know if you spot any bugs or have ideas for improvements 😊
