how does August sound?

hey, F20 here. i've been meaning to visit for the longest time now & i think it may finally happen in August! i'm just a little unsure about the weather. i'd hate to carry an umbrella for most hours of the day and ruin my bful outfits. around when in August does the monsoon subside to an extent where things are enjoyable again & i won't need to worry about catching a cold from the rains? and are there some must-visit spots which are closed during the monsoon season? if yes, when do they open again? thanku!!

Udaipur's Baking culture needs much more noise !

So, me and my wife came to Udaipur for a short vacay cum investment trip and we made our whole itinerary with the help of posts from this sub! Tysm to the sweet people of Udaipur!

I have been here for quite a few times over the past decade while my last visit was in 2021, a lot of things have changed. I saw a bunch of clubs, a better night life than before.

My wife was completely overwhelmed by Jag Mandir Dinner, and City Palace, but out of the ordinary, what took us by a surprise was this cake my wife randomly ordered for my bday from ig. Generally we avoid generic bakery goods because of the excess shitload of cream and gluten content, so i assume she was searching for a less gluten option and this was genuinely something else.

Being one of the biggest coffee enthu, Mocha flavoured cakes are what i die for.

Now badding farewell to this amazing city, thank you Udaipur for reminding us of the beauty you are!

Visiting Udaipur ( lil worried 🙏🏻)

So basically me and my friends are visiting Udaipur in the upcoming week ( 5-10 July )
We have been hearing that it’s raining a lot there and we don’t want to spend our whole day at hostel or hotel
I have a whole itinerary planned with deep and full research which I don’t wanna ruin.

Please give me your tips for Udaipur how to treat it like a local and the truth about the weather.
Also any local please dm me so I can share the itinerary with you so you can check it.
