I know these questions may sound a bit stupid but I’m a incoming first year student and i have some concerns.
First is when do we pay for the first semester?? Do we pay as soon as it starts or towards the end?
When is orientation day and how/when do I get my student ID?

Hey guys. If a course i wanna do is full and theres no other sections available, who do I contact and request to open more potential sections? Im unsure so please help, it'd be appreciated
I (around the middle of june) received the admission offer, and i accepted it, so they sent me an email that i need to register as registration for new students started from j**uly 1, and i was having trouble with the registration as there were pre- requisite which i didn't understand (i tried choosing the required courses, but it still didn't work) so i went to the campus today to get counselling and help with the registration, as they stated in the email that i could come to building 6 upper floor for any issues regarding registration, but building 6 was closed, and the security told me to go to building 3, i went there, and i had to wait around 3 hours because there was a long line of 70 people, and when i went to them, they told me that the registration going on rn is only for the current student, new students will have to wait till the end of july to register. Okay, i get that they want the current students to register first, but then, why send us the email to register early, and that there will be fine, and whatnot for late registration.
As the title states, if I was accepted into a specific major, can I take courses for the other major and then transfer to that major?
My status currently is Cond Waitlist - HS Marks Valid.
Can I do anything to maybe get an offer quicker?
so i basically applied into bsc in ai and my hs average is 85% and math placements i got 95/100 and eng placements i got 102/120 and when i visited admissions office they said its rly hard for me to get in. is it true???
Hey guys, just wanted to say to whoever has not received their admission letter and is anxious about it….i received mine yesterday night …. And i got a 99 on English and i had gotten a 58 in maths and had to retake it to get a better score for my placement tests……I have seen people with a better score in both be very scared about their admission status (rightfully so) but just don’t panic yet……just wanted to come in this sub and say don’t loose hope…they are still giving out admissions prolly until the last day till class starts, so their is still hope….take care everyone and good luck!!
Submitted the application, payment went through, got direct entry on both placement tests but still application status is just submitted and not even waitlisted
I had all As for both my igcses and a levels
I went on peoplesoft to check my application status and it says no data is found. What does this mean?? I submitted my application, payment went through, did my placement tests, and got the emails saying my account's been made so what does this mean

Hi! I applied for Cybersecurity this April at UDST. I have been in the field of cybersecurity for about 5 years as a passion and hobby. I have quite good qualifications and achievements. One of the biggest ones is that last year I got recognized by NASA as an “Independent Security Researcher,” and they sent me a letter of recognition.
So the main thing I need to ask is, while my application is waitlisted, I thought of checking out the UDST website, and guess what!! I found a security issue with medium to high impact, depending on the scenario. So should I tell them so they give me admission? But on one side, I think if they don’t give a shit about my qualifications, then why would they care about a security issue on their system? And the main thing is, how will I reach the right person who has the power and would consider it? As many people will just take the info from me and use it for their own benefit (happened to me many times, even from people in big positions and big organizations in Qatar. I won’t tell names, but trust me, I mean high-post people).

I applied with Construction Engineering as my main undergraduate major on June 17. I did the AMP1 on June 25, and I got a 90 on that. I didn’t need to do the English placement test as I have an 8.0 on the IELTS. My high school percentage is a 99% and I’ve sent the equivalency letter as well.
From what I understood, decisions should’ve started coming out on July 1, but I saw people getting accepted long before that.
I’m worried that I might be too late, or that my course is full. My status still says “Application Submitted”. If anyone has any advice, please do let me know! 🙂

I got 64 in my English placement test and was on 1 point away to avoid the foundation program. Can I ask them to get 1 point waiver by manual review at least, though my IGCSE result was band 5 and I did not receive my AS level grades yet because it will be dispatched on August
