A must for any fans of gush collective or draft - some essential spliffer out chiller UKG with a remix on there from Enchanted rhythms and a collab with Peaky Beats too. Somehow a few of these never made it on to vinyl. Its out on wax in early September! Pre-orders are up now

Mixcloud or Soundcloud DJ mix?

Where do people upload their mixes and get the most listens?

I had been putting them on Soundcloud but recently put one on Mixcloud as a test and had more organic listens. It charted under UKgarage but wasn’t with a huge amount of listens.

Just uploaded a few more of the older ones to see how they do. All under 30mins mini mix style > https://www.mixcloud.com/jfx\_dj/

Also looking for other mixes to listen to. Again I’m not sure which platform is best to find ones on. Love to listen to others if would like to share 🙌

Recently got back into DJing after mixing UKG on vinyl 20 years ago! Loving the new UKG and especially a nice rolling track with a lovely bass line.

Don’t let the long intro keep you from interacting please. I want some honest opinions

I made this in garageband and it took me about 6-8 hours in total. I’d like some honest reviews since this is a slightly experimental uk garage style beat, but with warping chords. I made each instrument/synths myself in j6 synth one. The drums and effects are samples i downloaded online.

In this video i also show the settings i use for each synth i made, for the people who want to experiment with the same type of sound. I also show the plugins i use for them, but not their specific settings.

Todd Edwards & Dem 2 Vocals?

Where can I find decent vocals in the style of Todd Edwards & Dem2? Should I be looking in soul & rnb records? Anything more specific?
Also, while on the topic of Dem 2. I dunno what it is but compared to other garage producers there’s so much groove in their records. Everything is working together with so much call and response. I can’t put my finger on it what it is exactly. For those that haven’t already, check out Dem2’s bandcamp for that underground ukg sound!
