Just got in the limited Pro Diver in Royal blue. Loving this piece so far only complaint is the crown seems to be just a little bit ever so slightly bent. Screws in and out just fine though so hopefully no issues?

I’ve been on the lookout for a new watch ever since I sold my Seiko SARB017.

My checklist for the new watch was pretty simple: Arabic numerals, legibility, a red coloured seconds hand, and something that wouldn’t feel too heavy on the wrist.

I was this close to pulling the trigger on a Hamilton Khaki Auto 6311, but then I stumbled upon Unimatic, and their design language immediately won me over.

What I appreciate is that even details like the orange seconds hand are rooted in functionality. International Orange has long been used in aviation and maritime applications because it stands out when visibility matters.

The more I read about it, the more I appreciated the thoughts behind the design. What initially seemed like a stylistic choice turned out to be a functional one.

I ended up splurging on the titanium version that was limited to 99 pieces.

So I ordered this on June 9, got it a few days later and was initially happy overall (see other posts/reviews on this model). Went swimming maybe three times in shallow pools, and on Sunday, emerged with major condensation. Yes, the crown was screwed down completely, and no it hasn’t taken any major smacks or drops (though according to their description that shouldn’t be an issue).

Wrote in and they said they’d send a label to return it within a “couple of days” and their lab would diagnose it, and replace it with the same model if defective. But ya’ll, I have no desire to roll the dice on this model again. Will update then they diagnose, but at this price, this thing should be bulletproof, let alone 5ft-pool proof.

Ever since purchase from Jomashop (ik FML), the sapphire of my watch gets condensation when out in the sun. The condensation will eventually disappear but it persists. I have taken to my local watch shop who has pressure tested my watch multiple times with full pass each time. Does not appear to affect the movement or timekeeping at all. Wondering if I should pay $500 for service at unimatic or if anyone else has any thoughts I would appreciate it.
