Accomodation tips at the UoS

Hello! :)
I am doing an Erasmus this winter at the University of Sussex and am right now looking for an accomodation.
The student dorms of the UoS seem to only allow 3 days of visit per month. I am not a hotel but it seems a little shitty if I can not host a friend for a week and gotta kick them out of the country if they come visit.

So I have two questions:

  1. How strict is this limitation really? Can I ignore it in good manners as its merely a formal restriction or is it serious?

  2. Where do you search for good private alternatives?

I am thankful for any tips! :)

Sorry for my bad english

Wondering if anyone's seen this backpack?

It's got travel documents inside of it, there's also a spot of white paint at the bottom.

Inside contains a silver HP laptop with Hatsune Miku stickers and a Growlithe sticker. There's a universal adapter in the front zipper, mouse and mousepad in the middle zipper, and the aforementioned laptop as well as travel documents in the main zipper.

If found, please return it to Sussex University Eastslope reception. Thank you!

Question for research.

What's the biggest thing you struggle with as a university student that you wish someone would just solve?

Not necessarily academically but balancing everything.
