What to do if I fail my only resit?

Hi guys and girls, I am currently studying BSc Computer Science at University of Sussex and I just wanted to know for the worst case scenario that if I was to fail my resit which is today. Only worth 15 credits of the year which has resulted me in getting 105 and I require 120 to get into final year. Overall for the second year I received 69% and I literally only failed one paper to which I’m resitting today. If I’m being honest, I’m not 100% confident in this paper hence why it’s the only thing I failed and I’m retaking it.

Now, if I was to fail this resit today. What are my options? Am I allowed to have a trailing resit or a second resit going into my final year? Considering I’m going from second year to third year and also the fact that it’s only this paper which prevented me from getting 70%+ overall and 120 credits

I will also contact my school today to get a better understanding but I wanted your guys thoughts on this as I am a bit anxious and do not want to retake the whole year as it can be financially difficult for me

Got in through clearing

Im an international student who had to apply through clearing after not achieving the grades i needed, and my top choices afterwards were University of Kent and sussex. I didn’t do as thorough of a research into these as I did for my original choices but I did end up choosing sussex. How do we feel about this decision? Is it better than kent or have i made a mistake

Is uni of Sussex worth it?

Hi
I have applied to sussex for undergrad and have till monday to decide between either sussex or university of brunel in london
Should i come to sussex or go to Brunel
The only thing attracting me to brunel is that it is within london however every other factor leads me to sussex so is uni of sussex worth it for leaving behind london ?

Accreditation for psych courses?

I’m an international student joining the foundations of clinical psychology and mental health program this year at Sussex, and I have been told that this program is not BPS-accredited.
Is this an issue of any kind? Will it affect my employment (either in the UK or elsewhere) or the credibility of the degree in any way? Any idea what are the implications of this? Are all psychology courses in Sussex not accredited?

Would be grateful for any insights!

How long did your CAS take?

Currently an international student waiting for my CAS to be issued. It’s been at 61% for two days and have been waiting for about 2 weeks. Just wanted to hear from other international students going to Sussex or still waiting for their CAS to be issued

brightelm vs lewes court (both shared)

hi guys, which accom would you say is better because i'm kinda very undecided as a clearing student. i know brightelm has like a cuter shared house vibe with a terrace and its own washing machine then lewes court seems a bit more you get kinda of the standard what you need cause it is like 2k cheaper. and even after thinking of laundry costs lewes will be quite cheaper. they both have the same travel time to my campus and close to the same facilities as far as i'm aware.

does lewes have any like issues behind the scenes which explain how cheap it is or is it genuinely a decent enough place to stay?

i haven't got any issues with noise or social aspects or anything more just the general vibe, comfortability, standard hygiene without factoring in flatmates etc.

mind i've submitted a current years income assessment which will hopefully allow me to get the full 10.8k else my sfe will be about 5k so without a job (do plan to get one somehow) i can only afford lewes.
