Case Summary
On 26 January 1966, siblings Jane, Arnna and Grant Beaumont travelled to Glenelg Beach in Adelaide, South Australia.
The children were expected to return home by lunchtime. They never did.
Witnesses reported seeing the three children throughout the day in the company of an unidentified fair-haired man believed to be in his late twenties or early thirties. Despite one of Australia’s largest and most extensive investigations, neither the children nor the man have ever been identified.
For almost six decades, the Beaumont children’s disappearance has remained one of Australia’s most enduring unsolved mysteries.

This case has haunted me since I first read about it and I genuinely believe it is one of the most disturbing cold cases in American history. Not because of what happened. But because of everything that was deliberately done to stop the truth from coming out.
Here is what we know for certain.
Christmas Eve. December 24th 1945. Fayetteville West Virginia. George Sodder aged 50 and his wife Jennie aged 40 were asleep with their ten children when a fire broke out at 1:30 in the morning.
