Applying for AADDA and I’m anxious kung papasa o hindi hahaha. 😖😖 For UgAT, ‘di ako sure sa sagot ko sa ilang mga tanong sa Math and Science. Di ko alam kung na-justify ko ba yung essay, di ko man lang din nagawang mabuo within minimum number of sentences 😭 hahaha kainis. Used AI to improve grammar for admission essay. Di rin naman ako katalinuhan??? Hahaha 😵‍💫😫

Hello! I'm about to apply for Diploma in Computer Science;

Try ko magpa-evaluate ang recommendation letters ko sa mga former profs ko this year (2026). Pagkatapos nun priority pa namin uuwi muna sa visayas bago ituloy sa pag-asikaso mga documents requirements para sa admission sa UPOU by 2027, 2028, or 2029.

Kung nasa Visayas na ako, accepted ba kung ako nalang mismo magsubmit thru mail yung recommendation letters together with my other requirements na naka-evaluate na galing sa mga former professors ko for the next academic year admission? May nabasa kasi ako na mismong prof ang mag-mail sa recommendation letters ko to UPOU los baños.

Hello! I plan to overload sa 2T at 3T ng A.Y 2026–2027. Is it possible na ma-approve ang overloading nang magkasunod na terms? Also, bukod sa student checklists, ano pa ang ipinasa niyo to overload? I have read somewhere kasi na kulang daw ang req na ipinasa niya dahil checklists lang, samantalang ’yun naman talaga ang indicated sa AIMS and UPOU site.

Hi im currently waiting for the official acceptance email from the OUR (not enrolled yet) but I was wondering if mayroon na kayang discord server ang MRDM I can join already? Hopefully for silent virtual rooms we can attend during self-study or maybe have private call rooms for group tasks (I've heard group tasks r difficult esp in DE). Or baka pwede gumawa nalang ako if none yet. Lowkey want to make sure I'm in one before classes start. And messenger can sometimes be overwhelming for me. Thank you!!

I’m planning to transfer to UPOU as a T2 transferee, but my current GWA is 2.04, which is slightly below the 2.0 or better requirement for non-UP transferees.

I wanted to ask if there have been cases where a T2 applicant with a GWA slightly below 2.0 was still allowed to apply/take the UgAT or eventually accepted.

For those who transferred to UPOU as T2:
* If you were slightly below 2.0, what happened with your application?
* Is there any chance I could still be considered with a 2.04 GWA?

I know the official requirement says 2.0 or better, but I’m hoping to hear from people who have actually gone through the process. Thank you!

I already admitted to this program, I received the admissions’ email last Thursday. As early as now, I am planning my study load for first semester. For the alumni and current students and may classmates out there, do you have suggestions what study load i need to priority? Meaning, the cherry and ice cream, great combination haha!

Hi! I’m currently a third-year student at a state university, and I’m considering transferring to UP Open University (UPOU).

One of my main reasons for transferring is that I want to graduate with a UP degree. However, since I’m already in my third year, I’m worried about whether transferring would be worth it, especially if some of my previous units won’t be credited and it delays my graduation.

For those who transferred to UPOU from a state university, do you think it was worth it?
I’d appreciate honest opinions and advice, especially from those who were already in their third year when they transferred. Thank you!
