1886 - $5 Silver Certificate “Morgan Back”

Anyone ever ask you what your favorite Morgan dollar is? This is always my answer!

Posted an 1886 Martha yesterday, thought I would show the other 1886 in my collection. I still need to find a suitable $2.

This is probably my most expensive bill. Shame they didn’t continue with designs like this. Absolutely blows my mind with how good the engravers were that made designs like this.

Hope you all enjoy!

1886 - $1 Silver Certificate “Martha”

Good morning folks! Thought I would swing in early this morning with some eye candy for you all!

A few months ago I picked up this $1886 $1 note. It depicts Martha Washington on it! The only US currency to prominently feature a woman on the front. And boy isn’t she a beauty!

Normally when I come across these bills, they’re dirty and limp. Finding this one in such a good condition was a treat!

My big motivation for purchasing it is the Large Brown Seal. It is shared with the 1880 series, but changes in later years of this design.

I’ll be back later in the week with some more goodies!

1837 Half Dime - No Stars

Had a show this weekend and ran into this. The photo is under light, its toning is extremely dark.

I feel I was pretty fortunate to find one in this good of shape locally. Normally they’re pretty smooth!

One for the type set for sure.

$100 1914 Series

Since you all enjoyed my $50 note from yesterday, I thought I’d show off my $100! The back shows a depiction of Labor, Plenty, America, Peace, and Commerce.

One of the most beautiful bills in my collection. Scarce to see in person where I live. Hope you all enjoy!

$50 1914 Series

Picked this up a year or two ago. A great example! I almost never see these locally and was glad to pick this up, even with the stains.

Organization mess…

I was wondering if any of you had any ways to keep your collection nice and neat. I’ve tried to have stacks but they never last long. Any ideas? I have this 4 shelf closet for room.

Some type coins you may enjoy!

Hello USCoinsHub! Some type coins from my set that I thought you all may enjoy.

1905-S Barber Half Dollar

1943-P War Nickel (silver), this one is toning a beautiful blue and yellow!

And finally, to opposite extremes. A 1883 “No Cents” V nickel in very high grade, next to a very sad, but rare, 1885.

Hope you enjoyed!

1938 D/S Buffalo Nickel?!?!?

I recently bought this PCGS “ 1938 D Buffalo Nickel “ MS66 at a coin shop. When I got home, I decided to look for the D/S and I couldn’t believe it, I saw it. Do you guys think this is also a D/S? Should I get it regraded?
