"It's Happening": Miami FC's New Homestead Soccer Stadium!

Simon Evans has this update in the latest issue of his The Soccer Business newsletter, about Miami FC's new stadium in Homestead, FL. Interesting that this big slug of financing is coming from Bahrain with supposedly none coming from the State of of Florida! Which percentage of the total $280 MM is this Phase I?:

"MIAMI-DADE'S SPORTS PERFORMANCE HUB COMPLETES PHASE 1 ROUND WITH INVESTMENT FROM BAHRAIN'S ME&F HOLDINGS Sports Performance Hub (SPH), a planned 90-plus-acre sports/education/entertainment/real estate development in Homestead, FL, which will be home to the USL's Miami FC, has completed its Phase 1 round with investment from Bahrain-based ME&F Holdings, led by Faris Al Kooheji (Secretary General, Bahrain Olympic Committee). The round was advised by 54, SPH's exclusive sports/media adviser. Plans include a 10,000-seat stadium, 150-room hotel, training facilities and residential/commercial real estate, projecting ~4,300 construction jobs and 600+ permanent positions. SPH is led by CEO Nick Sakiewicz; deal size was not revealed."

What do you all think? How many more Phases are in store, and the likelihood of all being completed? 2028 for start of USL Competition is possible?

The following video has additional rendering!

EDIT: This Sports Performance Hub is designed to compete with the IMG Academy, as a residential sports academy for high school and gap year students aspiring for college and pro sports. Maybe hoping that some of the students' families might rent or buy residences in the complex to be with their kids, and also be fans of the USL Miami FC club?

HOT NEWS -Confirm? "Minn. Aurora to join the USL Super League!"

The inestimable Kartik of the Beyond the 90 substack just divulged to its Premium members that Minnesota Aurora is one of FOUR women's clubs set to join the USL Gainsbridge Super League (USL GB/S) once the calendar shift to match the NWSL schedule has been completed (2027). The video is at the link below (but may require a paid membership to view), and the screengrab shows the portion of the video where he talks about the Aurora.

Can anyone else corroborate or expand on this amazing news? How certain is this? Will the Aurora play at an upgraded venue once the shift the USL GB/S occurs (as US Soccer requires a venue of at least 5K fans)?
