so i have a summer class thats supposed to start tomorrow but its not showing up on my canvas😭 its an online class too … should i be worried (i already am but still…)?

NGL, I was able to get a B in Physics at the last min due to having an amazing professor for letting me retake a exam. Now I don't know if I should take the course here or take it online at Dallas College. I done it before while still taking classes here, the thing is that i believe everything has been taken or there's a couple classes left open

For some context: I'm an incoming freshman at UTA, and will be doing my 5 year major on campus. My partner, however, is doing community college at Tarrant County College. We both will be living really close to UTA's campus, and I wanted to know if anyone has heard of whether or not a non-UTA student (with plans to commit to UTA after community college), can pay and use a meal plan at UTA.

If a community college student can join the marching band if they pay, I feel they should be able to be fed too if they pay.

I'ved already emailed the orientation office. I can't stay overnight becasue I have a religious commitment the night of my orientation. I will need to go home and attend it and then I'll come back in the morning for day 2. Is it mandatory to stay overnight? I know UTD and other. colleges don't require it.

Hey! So i have a gap semester (the fall) due to the class i need only being in the spring to graduate. I was wanting to do something for this semester as I get good aid and would get a refund but of course I cant take classes outside of my major. I was thinking of doing an English minor, I have already taken multiple english classes and some level 3000/4000 meaning I could do it in one semester if I wanted to. The website online wasn't too specific on if there were specific classes to take just that you need 12 credit hours in english courses, 6 being level 3000/4000.

Is this worth while? To add on my degree is already english adjacent (Education degree for English and Social Studies) and I love to write and am currently writing my own books so these classes wouldnt be a waste and something I actually want to do!

i missed my goddamn exam and i dropped from an A to a D im genuinely crashing it oh my god

it’s all my fault i didn’t see the announcement cus i was work all day and i never bothered to read the syllabus so i can’t even blame anyone for it but me but oh my god i didn’t realize how stupid i am

***editing to add that i bit the bullet and emailed. i got an extension by one day and was able to bring my grade back up 😎 thank u everyone for encouraging me cus i don’t think i would’ve emailed without yalls response!! i have learned that i am a quitter and not a fighter lol but i can choose not to be that

Im on waitlist for MATH-2326 and MATH-3330 for FALL 2026, how likely am i to get into the class?

still have yet to get my parent plus loan for summer, hasn't even shown up as available to accept. I talked to financial aid and they still can't give me a real answer for anything. ITS BEEN TWO MONTHS

I just finished my first year of UTA in electrical engineering and unfortunately my family finds it hard to afford it.

What's a good community college I can transfer into for electrical engineering major around the DFW area to get my credits up and finally transfer elsewhere later on

Did anyone else’s grad plus loan disburse

Did anyone have these automatically fall off after their loan went through? My account shows that it got paid- probably like an hour ago but I still have the hold, so no refund has been sent to my account... I'm just curious if this hold has been lifted for anyone automatically, or do I need to call in the morning?
