please don't attack me and don't give me solutions with the "if you're homeless just buy a house" vibe. i heard that english voicebanks aren't the best for beginners and i just want to make a song should i spend my time learning japanese or is there a way around it?? and what japanese voicebanks should i use?
I'm a complete beginner but I'm expecting something along the lines of "Yeah some voicebanks struggle with certain sounds" or "It'll work if you use this super specific trick"

I’ve been using OpenUtau with Teto and it was working perfectly fine like 30 minutes ago, but out of nowhere the piano roll stopped auditioning her voice.
Whenever I click a note to hear it, it just plays this weird, flat electronic/piano beep sound instead of her voicebank.
But, if I actually hit play to render the whole track, the voice comes out perfectly fine.
I’ve already tried uninstalling the whole thing, hunting down every single config/cache file in my Windows folders, and doing a completely clean reinstall, but it’s still doing the exact same thing. I didn't even touch any settings, it just randomly decided to stop working.
Has anyone else dealt with this?
Any tips on how to fix this would be a life saver.

So I downloaded Ruko from the official website and installed her in OpenUtau. I'd like her to sing in english, but it appears none of her english phonemizers seem to work.
Is she broken or did I install it incorrectly?
So, I downloaded the adam edmond one, and its not rlly working well with utau, but the link by edushee p is down, and those were the only two i could find. maybe im juts genuinely stupid but i cant ifnd it anywere lol
I can't really seem to find a good resampler for her on MOBILE (i only have a phone). So excuse me for the bad rendering 😓
Anyways, i made this bank myself ALSO fully on mobile! It was a silly project from a while ago heavily inspired by the Adachi Rei C+V bank!
I loved how Adachi Rei's english sounded like so i was like.. "What if Defoko also had a C+V?" BAM! Here it is! (This is like my third post about her here-)
Her old Version (V1) has recycled samples from her original Japanese bank, meanwhile her V2 has the same thing but ALSO heavily edited to sound like the actual phonemes! (L sample is the N sample btw).
For the R sample i just re-oto her "ra" sample to only sing the R sound. Used it in UTAlet and that's how the English R was made for both "r" and "er"!
Is there a better resampler similar to Worldline? Better sounding and as fast to render. I have a VCV voicebank that doesn't get along with that resampler. Whenever it tries to pronounce 'y' or 'h', it gives the same 'airy static' noise that I don't want. MoreSampler isn't good either; it always gives me the 'oto error' message.
Does anyone have recommended websites they use to find voicebanks specifically by quality? For example, searching "soft" and getting softer voices. I'm trying to match up voicebanks to characters in a song series but I'm having trouble finding any resource like this.
I've been either searching songs I think people would cover with a specific type of voice, or searching specific qualities and hoping there's a thread somewhere, but it's not working great...
