Okay. Crazy question

My partner is trying to find a voice bank song but he only knows a single lyric

It’s an English song with a female voice

The lyric is apparently either:

A: I’m sorry I’m not the monster you made

Or

B: I’m sorry I am the monster you made

He says it’s a fast passed song like Ego Renegade boy

But with a female voice

I went though all the ones I could thing off.

It is ***not**
-monster by Kira,
-monsters in me, it’s not Bedevil,
-I’m sorry I’m a monster

If anyone has any idea that would be great

How much should I charge for an oto job?

I found myself with the opportunity to oto a voicebank for a streamer I watch! I've never done vocal synth work for anybody but myself, and dont even know where to start on pricing.

We're going to hash the details out on Friday, so I dont know exactly what she wants yet. I have experience with CV and VCV, but if she decides on a more complicated system after hearing the examples, I will absolutely learn it and deliver a very clean product. I also plan to suggest multi-pitch, given it sounds like she has quite the range.

I plan to deliver a highly polished product with background noise cleanup, volume normalization, and whatever else the recordings demand of me. Im also very exact and detailed about param placement.

I may have no history of my work on the internet, but I've been working with vocal synth tech for about 18 or so years now, and am quite good at it, it has all simply stayed offline on my harddrive. I say this not to brag, but because I know experience tends to play a role in art commissions across any kind of art work.

What do you guys charge for your otoing work?

Also, seperate question for the future, if she decides to commission me for song cover production, how should I charge for that?

Thank yall in advance! You dont know how excited I am to finally be doing this stuff for someone who's not myself

Sociology Research Paper About Vocaloid, SynthV, and UTAU Communities!

Hello everyone! I'm currently working on a sociology research paper relating to the communities around Vocaloid, SynthV, and UTAU musicians. I went around my school but only have around 34 responses so far... The survey is short, about 11 questions, all multiple choice except one. The answers are completely anonymous and cannot be linked back to you in any way, please do the survey if you have the time! Thank you!! The link and QR code below both lead to the google form :3

Would anyone voice my character?

Also they are non binary so it doesn't matter if you voice is male or female! And also maybe they can have two voicebanks like ruko! (One male and one female) and also it can only be cv or cvvc guys!!

Cover of Highway to Hell by Kasane Teto

This is a cover of Highway to Hell by itsnotAZ, which as far as I’m aware is the first V-Synth cover of Highway to Hell. If you wish to listen to it you can find it at this link: https://youtu.be/O4yORDedfCs?is=ca63\_mz-Y8sMwJfq

(Also I don’t know if I should post this here but I thought it might appeal to us AC/DC fans).

Total Newbie here! Looking for tips to get a good start

https://reddit.com/link/1ti7gyc/video/dr1jcuww672h1/player

Hello! I just decided to give a try to using open Utau (no prior experience with similar software). Currently trying to do a spanish cover for the Nobody song by Mitski, and I think the words aren't fully understandable. Not sure if this is something related to music theory, something I have miss configured (some syllables sound japanese I think), or just a general misunderstanding of the software.

It makes sense for me to leave an empty space with silence between words, and have syllables from the same word together, but I have the impression some of the syllables that have no space between them are kind of cutting their sounds.

Thanks for the time to give any tips, I intend to look for tutorials but I'm not sure if I should focus on the tools the software has or just free flow experimenting is recommended.

does anyone have an ust for rockefeller street (nightcore)?

i have been working on a cover of it for a few days now and have most of the non vocal parts finished. i desided to ask around cause i have spent a good portion of the day running through forums and youtube video descriptions looking for one.
i could make my own, but it takes time and finding an already created one would take a lot of the pain outta matching the lyrics to midi recording, converting the midi file and adding the lyrics.

I can protoype a VB for you!

NOTICE: If you provide a sample, the voice provider MUST give consent. No jinrikis.

Exactly what the title says. If you have a single 0.5-2 minute sample of your voice talking, I can prototype a bank.

I use zero-shot voice cloning to make prototype banks that are slightly messy but functional.

Japanese VCV and English X-SAMPA both work for me, although I will finish a VCV bank faster. Japanese VCV will be higher quality.

(yes if you want to use the prototype as the main one you can... you dont have to credit me although that would be nice)

this is completely free by the way

update on my previous post

I adjusted some things and added some placeholder notes, hope it's better (also i don't know if its normal but teto makes the "T" and "D" sound like if they had an H, and it's really bugging me since it's much harder making a song like this)

is utau singing hard to understand or is it my skill issue?

i’m making an original song in openutau with veria’s cv english voicebank and the worldline-r phonemizer. i showed the first draft to some friends, and they could barely understand enough of the lyrics to grasp the most barest-of-bones meaning of the song. the first draft was supposed to have fixed most pronunciation issues, and i didn’t give them the lyrics beforehand to eliminate bias. i’m quite new to making vocals with openutau, so do i just suck or is openutau genuinely hard to understand for english? either way, how could i improve the pronunciation?

how could i improve pronunciation?

i’m using veria’s c+v english voicebank with the worldline-r phonemizer. this is a clip from my first draft. it was supposed to have fixed most pronunciation issues, but none of the friends i showed it to could understand at least 25% of the actual lyrics. the first section is one that i think is choppier and the second section is one i think sounds smoother. any advice would be welcome

Does anybody have commissions open? I would be interested!

I would love to recreate songs, and also create some new ones with my own voice! However, this is very complicated in my eyes and I also don’t have a computer to use to do this! I would love to commission somebody for a project this year!
