filing a complaint against a professor

Does anyone have any advice for making a proper complaint against a professor? One of my courses in the winter term was a mess and the professor made so many mistakes that at this point makes me want to make a formal complaint. First off she ignored my medical accomodations, and when I would follow up to correct it especially for tests it would take days for me and accesability services to get her to answer. And for the entire term she wouldn't answer any emails at all. the course was online so email and online class was the only way to get ahold of her but she'd drop the zoom instantly. eventually after zero responses to anything a few months in i found out through a classmate that she only answers texts to her personal phone number. every single test would end up the same way waiting for days for her to correct the accomodations. she even avoided text message questions. after asking for my exam grade done in january it took her weeks to respond at all and when she did in april she told me the exam is missing and that shell fix it right away. a few weeks after waiting i had to reach out to the department. eventually the department found and marked my exam and felt relieved that I can move on from the class. AND THEN i get my final grade on webadvisor to see an F. And to see a paper was never marked. The lowest possible grade i should've got was a B+, but from what I calculated it should've been an A-. now ive waited a whole week while the department tries to resolve it with the prof, only to find out two days ago that she still hasn't answered the department. I just let so much slide but at this point it's really affected me and just seems so ridiculous. I've said all of this to the department but no one's really done anything.

UWLibrary has movies!

Maybe this is new only to me, but I am high on excitement right now! Have you ever had that one elusive old film that you really want to see but can’t find anywhere? Even after searching through all the streaming sites, and willing to pay some $$$, but nothing comes up? I recommend searching the UW Library online, because it’s there! And it’s fucking glorious!

And just if some of y’all curious, the movie I was looking for is an epitome of French cinema with historic content sprinkled somewhere in there! It’s visually stunning, graphic, and raw! Queen Margot is a masterpiece, in my opinion of course! Highly recommend!

UIC 2001-Community Development

Has anyone taken this course within the last 1-2 years? I am debating on taking it, but would like to know the work load and kind of what to expect. Sounds like it will be interesting but would like to know others thoughts.

Intro to Criminal Justice With Amelia Curran This Fall Term 2026

Hi everyone,

Would anyone be able to give me insight on Dr Amelia's first-year Intro to Criminal Justice class? Is it usually the same material/content each term? Or is it different concepts/themes in the lecture? I appreciate any ideas because I might start to review some of the matarial before hand.

Thank you very much!

Do not understand how anyone can do a full course load and work. I don't have to work and I can't even get a full course load in! Like why? Nd how is everyone doing it? I met a few people who are only taking one course at a time each term.
