im currently a rising senior in the US and im looking into the possibility of studying at western university. I was hoping to hear from any current international students especially those from the US, how was the process for you and how do you find studying there. Also do you think its was the better option as opposed to going to a university out of state? any advice is appreciated please and thank you!
How do I know it actually went through I paid on Wedneaday and it hasn't reflected on my statement of account yet. I just paid it the same way we pay tuition usually as it said to do
hi everyone, sorry to add this sort of clutter to the main stream but i can't get an answer anywhere else (ontario grade 12s sub, or the mega thread).
if i get an acceptance during the summertime as a first year does anyone know the chances of me getting on campus or just university associated housing? has anyone been in the same situation before?
i live way too far to commute but my parents wouldn't let me live off campus in my first year. therefore if i have a bad shot at on campus/university associated housing they probably won't want to pivot.
my parents and home in general isn't the biggest joy to be around to put it lightly so living in a different city and on campus would affect me so positively mentally and physically. thanks in advance
I am currently in Health Science (entering 2nd year) but I am pretty set on switching to nursing. Originally I wanted to go into medicine as a doctor but I am realizing just how difficult it would actually be. I basically want advice on whether I should still take orgo, biochem, etc. if I am set on switching. Since it is not a guarantee that I will get into nursing.
Hello i recently got accepted into the certificate and was wondering what it is or if anyone has info or have done it before. do we get a qz?
Hi all, just wondering if Non-AEO is done. There was a round on Tuesday but none yesterday, wondering if holidays (like Canada Day) could have affected this, or if they’ve sent out all the offers.
I’m a fourth year. Both my friends have gotten their enrolment appointments today and it shows in their email and the student centre. I haven’t had any emails from enrolment. I’m also at Kings if that could make it different but I’m really worried there could be something wrong.
Has anybody not gotten theirs yet?

as the title suggests I am in dire need of a category C to complete my degree but I have essentially zero skill or knowledge pertaining to science or mathematics. I took earth sciences 1086 and really enjoyed it but every other course sounds very challenging. I attempted comp sci 1026 last year and my brain almost exploded. can someone please recommend courses that fulfill the category c requirement that are most importantly not too challenging, but also not insanely time-consuming? I have to work full-time to keep going to school so I can't really afford to dedicate dozens of hours to trying to understand concepts. I am majoring in social justice and peace studies so I didn't expect needing to know calculus or physics to graduate😭thank you!
**edited to rectify that i took comp sci 1026 and not 1025 lol
Talk about it here. Good luck!
I have never applied for Bursaries at Western, and I want to know what the chances of getting any assistance from them are. Im going into 3rd year as a full time student in economics. My tuition will be somewhere around 8000 dollars, but my osap is only about 1000 dollars as of now. I am going to opt for a flexible payment plan and I have a part time job, but im wondering if I will be able to get anything from the bursary. Has anyone else received any money after applying?
Edit: If anyone is wondering, I am not from a high earning family. Even though both my parents work and I have a part time job as well, I have always relied on OSAP to cover my tuition for the past 2 years. This year it felt like a punch to the gut because of how low the funding is compared to previous years, especially since there has been no increase in income.
hey guys, i was ineligible for my requested honours program. the requirements were 3.0 of the required courses and 2.0 additional courses at 1000 level. i completed the required courses requirement, but for my additional courses i withdrew one leaving it to 1.5 credits. would that be the reason i was ineligible? i just finished a 0.5 course at 1000 level this summer, and is still taking another 0.5 course at 1000 level. would it still be possible for me to get into my requested honours program? thanks
When do we get the letter of enrolment after accepting and paying the 2k deposit?
I haven’t gotten anything yet and I was in the AEO round
