Rant lang, pero gusto ko rin malaman kung may iba bang PLV students na nakaka-experience nito.
Kanina, nasita ako dahil naka-OJT uniform ako. Galing kasi akong OJT tapos nag-half day ako para pumasok sa class. Like, anong problema sa pagsusuot ng OJT uniform? Hindi naman ako basta pumasok nang naka-civilian. Galing ako sa OJT, at dumiretso na ako sa school dahil may klase pa ako.

Ang confusing lang kasi 4th year students din naman ang pinagsasabay sa OJT at regular classes. Desisyon din naman ng university na pagsabayin ang OJT habang may mga units or subjects pa rin kaming kailangang pasukan. So paano naman yung mga students na kailangang dumiretso sa school after their OJT para makahabol sa klase? Hindi ba dapat maging considerate din ang university sa ganitong situation, especially since kailangan naming i-balance pareho ang OJT at academic responsibilities namin?

Isa pa yung pagbabawal sa PE uniform sa Main Campus. PE uniform naman siya ng PLV mismo, so bakit bawal isuot sa Main Campus? Kung university-issued uniform naman siya, sana malinaw kung bakit hindi puwedeng isuot at kung ano talaga ang policy tungkol dito.

Mas concerning din yung mga reports tungkol sa transgender students na sinisita dahil sa crossdressing at long hair. Diba naging issue na rin ito last year? Bakit parang may mga ganitong concern pa rin hanggang ngayon? Sana mas maging inclusive at considerate ang university, especially sa students na gusto lang naman pumasok at makapag-aral nang maayos.

And speaking of these issues, may I ask din kung ano na ang status ng university president? Hindi ba may issue rin dati tungkol sa term niya or pagpapalit ng leadership? I’m genuinely asking kung may official update na ba tungkol dito, kasi hindi ko rin alam kung ano na talaga ang latest.
Hindi naman sa ayaw nating sumunod sa school rules. Ang point lang is, sana reasonable, consistent, at malinaw ang implementation ng policies. Students are already balancing academics, OJT, requirements, and other responsibilities. Sana hindi na dagdagan yung stress dahil sa mga rules na hindi naman malinaw sa students.

PLV students, ano thoughts ninyo dito? May naka-experience rin ba sa inyo ng ganito? May official policy ba tungkol sa OJT uniform at PE uniform sa Main Campus? And may update ba kayo regarding the concerns about transgender students and the university leadership?
Genuine discussion lang. Gusto ko lang maintindihan kung ano na ba talaga ang nangyayari sa PLV.

hi! i recently transferred schools from ubelt to valenzuela, and since i'm still adjusting to the area, i'm hoping to meet new people and make friends here.

Honestly, I agree with the concerns raised in the previous post. As students, we understand naman na may rules and regulations ang university, and we’re not saying na dapat walang rules. Pero sana, may consideration din sa actual situations ng students.

For example, kung galing ka sa OJT at dumiretso ka na sa school, bakit magiging issue agad ang suot mong OJT uniform? Hindi naman lahat ng students may time or opportunity pang umuwi at magpalit. Same goes with other policies na minsan nakakalito na kung ano ba talaga ang allowed at bawal.

And regarding sa buhok and gender expression, I hope the university can approach these matters with more understanding and respect. Students should be able to feel safe and comfortable in their own school, regardless of how they express themselves.

Hindi naman ibig sabihin na porket may rules, hindi na puwedeng i-question kung reasonable, consistent, at fair ba ang implementation. We’re here to learn, finish our degrees, and prepare for our future. Sana ang focus ay hindi lang sa pagsunod sa dress code, kundi pati sa quality of education, student welfare, and the overall campus environment.

Rules are important, pero sana may balance din between discipline and consideration. Students deserve clear policies, consistent implementation, and respect. Sana mapakinggan din ang side ng students bago magpatupad o maghigpit ng rules.
