Zurich v Vancouver

Could those who have lived in both places provide your thoughts and feelings on how Zurich, Switzerland compares to Vancouver, BC for an outdoorsy professional female (originally from Singapore, lived in London, Germany, NYC) in her 30s looking to date, get married, start a family and settle down long-term? Uncertainties about Zurich are cultural fit and language, especially for future children in the local German-language school system.

Salmon fishing

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask. I'll be in Canada with my wife from August 28th to September 21st. The last leg of our trip is in Vancouver. We've left it a little late in our planning, we should have planned it first, but we'd like to go salmon fishing on the 17th. The problem I'm having is I'm struggling to find a charter who operates directly out of Vancouver. All the charters ice found so far would require us to travel some distance from Vancouver, and we just dont have the time in our schedule for public transport, and we'll have handed our rental car back at that point. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Another fiery news of Car fire

This time it’s not EV. I never figured out why non EVs also get caught in this. Hope the driver wasn’t charging their lithium batteries inside as it is pretty hot in the sun
