On Vayne if you use your spell rotation once you'll be oom, where these champs can spam blow up entire waves....
Is anyone else genuinely freaked out about the Vayne nerf coming in patch 26.17?
I know it’s primarily aimed at Vayne top, but I honestly couldn't care less about top lane. I strictly play her as an ADC, and I’m a massive fan of the classic on-hit build that heavily relies on high attack speed and W procs. I like the crit build too, but only a few times whenever I'm against full squishies, but it lack the versatility and survivability the on-hit build bring, maybe its a personnal taste after all.
My biggest fear is that Riot is going to target her W.
Since it’s already been nerfed multiple times before and it's the main reason she bullies tanks and bruisers in top, nerfing it again will just destroy her in the bot lane. The tanky on-hit setup completely relies on that W true damage to work...
I’ve been maining Vayne for almost 10 years now. I stick with her even when she’s bottom tier, but right now, she’s just sitting at an average spot at best. One bad nerf could easily break both of her legs and push her straight into "troll pick" territory for ADC, forcing her into a pure top laner (basically pulling a Quinn on us).
Does anyone else share this feeling, or am I just overthinking it? What are your thoughts?
Edit : just saw the values are out ! Lmao I just checked out yeah, "Q mana cost 30 -> 46-30" and "W damage 6%-10% 4%-10%".
Well that's bad, you can't Q anymore to dodge mage spamming spells botlane without getting OOM now. W deal even less damages in early.
She's gonna be soooo trash in laning phase omg
It doesn't let me add my third slide but if you believe in "Killing Vayne top" I believe that you don't fully understand what you're advocating for. Vayne needs to be a good duelist in order to maintain her champion identity she isn't supposed to be a neutered botlane centric adc because she's already weaker in said role. Her early is easily punishable and there's lane combinations that you more often than not can't do anything about as opposed to toplane. I'm writing this as an adc main that's felt disenfranchised this season but I can't hate Vayne top players for picking her in a lane that's better suited for actually being able to play her. Mages can sit in the botlane and be strong forever but Vayne isn't allowed to be playable in either lane. If you nerf her top you nerf her ingeneral making he less playable for the Vayne player.
This little rat and his team has a track record of hating vayne, nerf/buff champ base on personal preference. Best act rn is to stop contributing to their revenue, quit the game entirely
Hii guys I'm an Emarld Vayne otp.

I'm under 200 lp away from Diamond. I would really like to discuss the skills and mindset I can develop now to give myself the best chance to get Diamond.
My micro is sound. I'm confident and know how to carry when the conditions are right.
I started learning back timers and being intentional with them. What are some other key concepts I should learn now?
She’s eating a nerf next patch despite being a non factor bot lane. Ranged top is just resented too much that bot players are paying for their sins
How would you address the issue (if you believe there to be one)?
For me personally I would like to rework the passive to something that becomes intrinsically more effective in duo lane skirmishes and team fights in general, and nerf her duelling capacity pre 6
Something like:
Night Hunter
Vayne gains 20 bonus movement speed while facing a nearby visible enemy champion, increased by 10 for each additional visible enemy champion. This is increased to 90 while under the effects of Final Hour.
Another issue is that Vayne is extremely sharp and vulnerable to certain counter picks top lane (sub 40% winrate matchups such as Malphite and Teemo) though arguably this is no issue and some may contend that she should not be blind pickable top. How to address this if at all I have no idea
i get a lot of good mus in top, so i can pressure infinitely, expect that i can't because the junglers always camp me, and no jungler consitently grants me cover. what do i do? even when i play safely i get sandwiched in top by 3 or 4 people painfully often ;'(
Sometimes I'm forced to first pick and sometimes that results in the miserable experience of picking Vayne into a team comp full of poke champs, like Aurora/Jayce/Ziggs/Seraphine/Lux/whatever. They can just spam their rotations without end from way beyond my auto range, and the moment I step into their ability range having come out of invis, I get chunked for a third to a half of my HP from a stray Ziggs Q or Syndra balls scatter.
What do I do if I'm faced with a comp like this? Do I just accept that this isn't my fight to win and that I have little agency in teamfights? Do I just make like a Twitch and look for flanks and surprise with invis? Do I just splitpush instead?
Any tips on how to improve? This is, so far, my most impressive outplay from what I've played so far, but I know that on Vayne, there is something you can always do better.
Unfortunately, we lost this game, cause Jayce decided to randomly give up a little later.
I win lane, get ahead to 3 items quicker but I feel like Im not dealing any damage. What builds are you guys going? I tried raptor’s build kraken into crit but I didnt really like that either.
And what would you say are her main strengths? I'm a Jinx otp who recently started playing Vayne, and I want to add her to my roster, but I'm struggling to figure out when to pick her over Jinx in champ select. Jinx's main strength in landing phase is her range and poke potential with her W, which Vayne struggles with. I'm pretty good with Vayne in big team fights, but I can't really figure out what her strengths are in laning phase, especially before level 6.
TIA!
I'm a high gold low plat player (ik 😔)
I play almost only adc in ranked and I play vayne crit 90% of the time.
I go Essence Reaver into fiend hunter but then I take collector and axiom arc. Then it's flex crit item (IE or shieldbow) and then flex lethality (serpent fang, edge of night,...), with omnivamp boots.
I feel like I one or two tap anyone who has less than 3k hp and am still hard to fall cause of perma invis. I can also afford to ult in 1v1 or 1v2 cause I'll get it back really fast.
Being unable to find a flaw, is that build viable or am I just playing against people who can't or don't know how to adapt ?
I recently started playing Vayne and I'm feeling like I don't build her correctly with the suggested items. Game says, Bersekers, Bork, Rageblade, two differences items. I barely reach 197 AD with these. Is that actually her "meta"/"ideal" build, cause a lot of the times even the enemy support has more AD than me at the endgame, while most adcs reach around 300+ at 30 minutes+. Could y'all explain or help me please?
Not only are Skt T1 and FPX outdated and bland, but I never liked them to be honest. Meanwhile I'm looking at this Yunara and MF skin with supreme jealousy.
If they didn't exist maybe we could have had a Zeus Vayne skin. Either way, feels like these two skins just existing put our girl in the back of the priority list for these skins.
They really did an amazing job on these new T1 skins, but I don't play any of those champions enough to spend like that.
Thanks for attending for my ted talk.
Are there moments in teamfights where you pop ult, snd try to flank the enemy squishies instead of playing front to back like a good boy?
after several games of being flamed for my build we did it
Crit is the move
Ive been enjoying:
ER > Glut boots > Feindhunter > IE
But i did always enjoy rushing hextec plate
And feel im missing something
DnD is kinda meh, it was fun but tbh lame
