Pls help

Im genuinely in need of advice.

I’m currently in year 12 and I’m really keen on studying law at Deakin which requires a fairly high atar . However If im being honest with myself and reflect on how I’ve been performing I NEED TO CHANGE ASAP otherwise I won’t achieve what I know what I’m very much capable of. My sac results have been mediocre and I know I’m capable of so much more. If anyone has tips please reach out because I genuinely want to fix the root issue and perform in a way I can be proud of. I know I’m not dumb but atm I certainly feel it💔

Any y12s struggling with competition between friends?

I’m a year 12 this year and I keep finding myself getting really competitive with some of my friends. there always seems to be a competition between who studies more and who performs better in pur sacs.

has anyone else had something similar? I know vce is inherently competitive and my school is very academic but I’m not sure how normal this is.

Tips for CHINESE SL 3/4 2026 PLSSS!!

I'm currently in Year 11, accelerating Chinese SL 3/4 in 2026 at my school. I'm also going to XJS for extra tuition. I did my SAC 1 (U303 Writing) a month ago which I got 14/15, ranked 1st in my cohort as of now, and have my SAC 2 (U302 Listening) soon. I feel like stakes are much much higher compared to unit 1/2 so I feel so nervous for each SAC. My Chinese foundation I would say is solid as I speak Chinese at home, was also the top student of my cohort for unit 1/2, and was top 3 in my XJS class before I switched my focus to school Chinese.

As for oral preparation, I've finished my script for General Convo and basically finished my script for my Cultural Study too. I've memorised about 25% of my GC and I spend time every week to practice and memorise my oral scripts.

My goal is to get a 40+ SS (which I know is what a LOT of people is aiming for too) and since this is my only 3/4 subject this year, I've been putting in a butt load of effort into it because this will definitely be in my top 4 subject.

I was hoping if anyone could give me tips or any tricks you found useful to prepare for CSL and ESPECIALLY the oral presentation exam! Also how should I maximise the revision week (SWOTVAC) to prepare for the final written exam. Thanks in advance 😄

VCE struggle

Hi peeps

My daughter is struggling to get good grades in SAC. Her subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Methods, English and business management.

She is going to selective school but somehow I feel that she is finding it overwhelming and unable to manage so much workload. She is also house captain.

What practical tips can you advise for her to do well in VCE? Are there are resources that might help in her preparation.

We are worried for her and feel that she may struggle to cope up with pressure as her VCE exams comes near.

Any resources or tips that you guys can advise would be highly appreciated.

Thanks 🙏
