THIS GAME IS SO UNDERRATED AND IT GENUINELY MAKES ME SAD

I’ve got payed this game for so long and it seems like no one except all of you know about it. I ask my friends in highschool if they knew the game and they didn’t even know it existed. I love that theres a a group of people hear that love this game as much I do. Thank you all. 🥰

Free back pack in daily shop

Just seen that there’s a back pack for zero crowns in the daily highlight shop thing. Nice little addition to a red puffa jacket outfit

What’s this for?

I’ve always wondered what this section by the water is for considering there’s no upgrades or anything to do down here really, my best guess is the devs planned to make this part of update? Maybe we would’ve gone into the oil rig in the distance, or maybe it’s just here to look nice and show how we get to the island maps. What do you guys think?

Crossbow

Is there anyone willing to drop me a crossbow? I’ve played like 15-16 matches hitting the mystery box, and trying bags and boxes for random weapons. But I am not having any luck!

Where to next after Vigor?

Seems pretty clear Vigor is in the winding down stage. Perhaps not this season or the next, but it's obvious the writing is on the wall sometime soon - and besides, my shelter is very near complete, and I've only got only a few of anything else left to do.

So - where to next? I don't want to play a MilSim or military focused game like RedSec, I don't want to battle demons or zombies or have super powers like Hunt, I don't want crazy HUD elements all over the screen or pointing out enemies, I don't want cartoonish bouncing jumping and flying. Has anyone found anything console based which might fill the gap once Vigor is gone, or that I can slide over to in these likely final months? I play DayZ already but it's a much different beast and you have to have a big chunk of time to give it. Or is everyone just going to fall into GTA?

Arc raiders "The Vigor Killer"?

I always thought this was a BS turn of phrase, especially when I started playing the game, because it's wildly different from Vigor besides it being a third-person extraction shooter.

I played for about a month, got bored, and haven't played since. I found Vigor to be much more rewarding and adrenaline pumping.

I was excited for proximity chat, but then I got in, and it was more toxic than even Dayz. I've never been called the n-word so many times in a game since og black ops.

I also hated the ttk, it felt like I had to shoot someone in the head for 30 seconds just to get a kill.

I think Vigor being free-to-play really makes a huge difference in how I felt about the business model. I was really annoyed having to pay $50+ dollars for a game only to have them have overpriced cosmetics.

Now I'm seeing their entire subreddit has turned against the devs, similar to how a lot of fans of Vigor also feel. Almost every post is about how the game is dying, only a year after being heralded as one of the best games of the year.

I'm curious if y'all had an Arc phase and if you came back to Vigor after, or if you're still hooked on it. Also, down to hear if y'all dipped out on both games altogether and why you won't come back.

Vigor 2026 We So Back!🩵

Some things never change lol. I’ve played maybe like 30ish shootouts since I decided to play again from time to time. This is the first one I’ve had like this. Can’t believe this has been plaguing shootouts for several years now😂 At the end of the day I hope you had a laugh and enjoyed watching, I sure did🩵long live this wretched game🍅

The Donations Fallacy ◇

I've been playing for 3 seasons and this is my 4th season so far.

At first it seemed counter intuitive to get "weekly FREE crafting plans" by dumping some food & resources into Azimov's crate.

Why painstakingly save crowns or even buy crowns at the shop ??

Have you ever considered why the game offers 13 types of bayonets 😅 ??

Each and every week I've deposited 200K in resources for the past 3 seasons and all I got was trash; and I've yet to recieve a Health crafting plan.

My point is that if you're planning on getting top shelf crafting plans for free; it's gonna be a LONG ass wait.

Remember that resources funnelled into the donations crate are eventually gonna slow down your shelter upgrades.

I bit the bullet and decided to save crowns and buy my own plans; and in fact it has saved me a ton of frustration and they served me well too.

Almost every encounter I'll take with me stuff I crafted from plans I bought - I've hardly ever crafted anything from the donations plans.

Sure, eventually you'll score top shelf crafting plans but in my opinion it's not worth the wait and the weekly 200K resources.

Truth be told; I'll save my crowns and wait for that item to be on sale - the 40% off is a steal.

What's your impression ?

Not much fun when the exit is at the top of a cliff (i suppose)

Thats a bit cruel and not much fun - one of the few times when some cretin with a sniper rifle didnt pick me off - Instead I die of radiation after running back and forth in front of a cliff in the dark.

bah I give up
