iMac G4/1.0 17 (17” Flat Panel)

Clearing out my computer closet, I found a few iMacs to recycle. But this one I thought I’d throw up here in case there was any interest.

On the one hand it is perhaps the coolest looking iMac (to some anyway) and it is working perfectly as near as I can tell (no guarantees but DVD player works, Mac boots and runs). It has actually has a 56k modem built in (remember those?) Even as a doorstop it looks good.

On the other hand it’s kinda old; running on one, 1Ghz G4 (last of the great “G’s”) it has an 80Gb disk, 768Mb of RAM. Currently it has OS 10.4 on it. So you’re not going to do much 3D modeling.

Keyboard and mouse included of course.

I’m about 30 miles south of San Francisco and 10 miles north of Cupertino. PM me if you’re interested. (Cheap — it a novelty; shipping anywhere would not be worth it)

iBook G3 (working) and disassembled iBook G4 (not working)

I feel a little like an interloper, as I'm not really a vintage Apple enthusiast (though I was an Apple user before this stuff was "vintage"). I inherited a bunch of Macs from a friend who never threw anything out. I got a few later Intel Macs running and passed them along. Then I encountered an iBook G4 which stumped me. I put everything away for a couple years, then returned to the pile, determined to free up the space they consumed.

I have a working iBook G3 and a non-working iBook G4 (disassembled, my apologies). I certainly don't follow the market for this stuff, so don't quite know what to ask. How about $100 plus shipping (continental US) for the working G3 and the non-working G4?
