I got the pieces while helping clean out a very high-end home. The house had a lot of legitimately expensive/designer furniture, so I’ve been trying to figure out who made this set.
A relative passed away, and I found this old end table. I can't find any markings or info on it besides it being made in Portugal in 1936. It looks to be made out of a lighter wood with a stone top.
I’m not sure where else to post this because I’m pretty sure it was manufactured in the 90s, but there’s a Bassett stamp on the inside and from what I could find on Google and Pinterest, it was made by Vaughn Bassett.
How can I determine what year it was actually manufactured based on this sticker? I saw a similar dresser on an old ad, but the top two drawers look different than what I have, so I haven’t seen this exact piece.
Bought this yesterday. The fold out ashtrays really sell it for me Sure, it is a mass produced folding table that has seen pretty hard use, but it is still structurally sound and I needed one this size At some point I'll probably take it apart and sand out those scratches.
Google says the tall piece was manufactured by Stickley (1st) and the shorter wider one (2nd) by Boyd, but they’re clearly from the same manufacturer — Even if it’s neither of the 2 listed! Any help is appreciated!!
I’ve been looking for a pair of nightstand chests forever, and it has been so hard to find a set. I don’t care that they match exactly, but I’ve been trying to find two of similar size and height for a WHILE. I came across these Hickory Chair chests on Facebook marketplace for $2100. I don’t want to get taken for a ride on the price because I don’t know much about furniture, so I just wanted to get some feedback on if they are likely good quality. I have to drive two hours to pick them up and don’t want to be surprised and awkward if possible.
Thanks!!
I found this piece at a thrift store for $100. I’ve been looking online to find one similar but nothing is coming up. Does anyone know anything about it?
