I am completely dependent on campus for placements 🫠

So I am 2nd year student at vit…we have a subject DAAA for which we have a very very very strict prof who made us get 16 assignments checked after soo much of difficulties and also in the lab exam he did too much first writing the Algo in paper then code…I don’t have problem with that thing but many other batches or departments have soo soo much chill faculties which give them marks easily but some of the batches or classes gets these types of faculties who does not gives marks easily….this makes the cgpa system unfair bro….and at the time of placements they will say you need 8.8 - 8.9 or 9 / 9 + cgpa…..I just Don’t like the thing that many are getting marks just because of chill faculties

My family members really had no hopes from me that I'll be able to get any college on my own merit (valid concern)

So they talked to an agent in VIT. He said 10L + the regular clg fees (2L was paid in advance and he further said that only if i score 60%+ the admission will be carried forward or else 2L won't be refunded)

I'm a cbse student and as some of y'all must be aware

Cbse f'cked up the results big time because of OSM.

But by god's grace I did score 65%+

I was expecting 75+ at least but anyways

I'm getting into cyber security so please tell me what the placements are like and do companies actually care about the 12th % and if they do. Do some companies look for good cgpa only and do they have a category for 65%+ in 12th during placements

So recently something happened to me in Bibwewadi near ProFitness Gym ATM. A random guy said he needed cash because his mom was in the ICU and he urgently needed money for medicines or some medical form, idk. He was saying it in a very convincing way. He said he would send me the money online. I told him I didn’t have cash, then he said just scan the QR code because he didn’t have his phone.

He was making a phone call to send me money, but I really don’t know what was happening on the call. I scanned the QR code considering it was an emergency, but my transaction failed. Then he said he would send it to his mobile number he gave atm. I sent ₹200 to his number.

He was asking for ₹300, but I said I only had ₹200. Man, my account balance was only ₹300 at that time 😭 I had to leave urgently, so he said “send the QR on the number, you’ll get the money,” and kept saying thanks and doing the sympathy type shit.

Later, the number he was calling from was switched off, and the number where the money got transferred was also switched off. His ATM also “didn’t give him money.”

I got scammed for ₹200. Be aware of this thing.

Okay so Vishwotsav last day was an absolute catastrophe and I genuinely cannot even right now.
Like, we were made to stand on the slope for a full 40 minutes — sorry, WHAT? And then they had the audacity to tell me to remove my capri, then my jacket, and one faculty member actually touched my straps. Touched. My. Straps. To, like, demonstrate what I was wearing? Ma’am, who gave you the right?
And then they had the nerve to pass judgement on my family values. FAMILY VALUES. Babes, I called my mom on the spot, she spoke to the faculty directly and told them she’s perfectly okay with what I was wearing — and even THEN the harassment didn’t stop. Like what more do you want??
And it wasn’t just me, okay? Easily 30% of the girls there were being judged and harassed the same way. And where was the student council through all of this? Just standing around looking decorative. Absolutely useless, not a single word from them.
The worst part? One faculty member made a girl take off her stockings and then — I kid you not — said “this is why bad things happen to girls.” A faculty member said this. At a college. I’m sorry but that is so deeply disgusting and irresponsible, like you are supposed to be ensuring our safety, not victim-blaming us for existing.
Honestly, this is the most disappointingly cheap behaviour I’ve ever seen from this institution and it’s simply shit.
I didn’t know what to do, my parents told me to let it go. I don’t wanna. Created a reddit account just to defame this shitty college and it’s shitty administration.

1. Front and foremost on all of them, the one who said this is why bad things happen to girls- Prof Vai**ali Pa**l
2. Prof Dee**li Desh**nde was there constantly stopping all the girls, she asked me to take off my jacket
3. The one who asked the girl beside me to strip her stockings was HoD of chemical or Instru I think. I don’t recall her name.
