Hello! I want to introduce the Red Ribbon Voices Youth Society based in Canada (though we accept volunteers from all over the world)

I am incredibly passionate about raising awareness for Indigenous women and girls, especially because they face higher risks of violence in Canada. I am searching for youth who are also passionate about contributing to an organization that wants to help this community (whether it be advocacy or other means). Even if you do not know much about the Indigenous community in Canada, I would be super happy for you to volunteer, learn, and contribute.

I am currently looking for one executive director, as well as branch correspondents and volunteers.

The organization will provide government-certified volunteer hours, recommendation letters, connections to MPs, and most importantly, the opportunity to help a good cause.

Just two hours a week can make a real impact.

The Canadian Covid Society is run by volunteers. Physicians, scientists, engineers, designers, organizers, translators, and advocates, each giving a couple of hours a week from wherever they live in Canada.

Two hours is a small commitment on its own, but put a dozen people’s two hours behind the same campaign and it becomes a policy brief in front of a school board, an infographic that changes how a parent thinks about the air in their kid’s classroom, or a French translation that reaches families throughout the country.

The commitment:

\- About 2 hours a week, on your own schedule, asynchronous-first

\- Attend team zoom meetings once/twice a month (depending on the team) for an hr typically.

\- 100% remote, from anywhere in Canada
