Faulty CEM?

Is this an absolute horrible purchase for $1500?
I’ve looked into xemodex for the replacement, my boyfriend is used to working on things like Hondas and Subarus so he’s weary regarding this fix.
Are there other issues I should be looking into?

Winter wheel set up? 2019 S60 T6

This winter is supposedly gonna bring a ton of snow, and my current 19” 5 spoke wheels with low profile all seasons wouldn’t be great, so I’m trying to figure out a winter wheel set up.

Anyone have a 18” wheel recommendation that’ll fit my T6?

Someone threw out a perfectly good S60!

There are 2 extra extra wide parking spots in our parking lot. Those that love their cars often "fight" over getting them. First time I got the dumpster slot. 🤣 (Wednesday is garbage day... Everyone knows not to park there then).

Brembo Brake Kit

Brembo 31471752CKT5 from FCP Euro.

Put the rears on today. Very happy so far & install was pretty straight forward.

Fronts on this weekend when I get those pads.

Cold air/turbo inlet question

I have a 2005 volvo s60 2.5t awd. Not a s60r. Does anyone know where i could order/buy a aftermarket cold air intake/turbo inlet?
(Note. I know it looks high in the front, i have xc70 front struts currently with proper ones on the way)

I took my S60 to the drag strip

I did three runs, I didn’t want to push it too hard.

This is the breakdown of my best time.

Reaction: 1.1299 (i was running alone, so i didn’t bother trying to get a good reaction)
60 ft: 2.2642
330 ft: 5.7847
1/8 ET: 9.7948
1/8 MPH: 75.68

I’m using Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires, not ideal.
I was in Polestar mode for all my runs. I used launch control up to around 3500 rpm. Youtube vid of my run. (Reddit wont let me post photos and vid at the same time)

Ask any questions and I will try and reply.

Do people buy 2nd gen S60s as parts cars?

My 2012 s60 just blew its timing belt and killed the engine, is it worth it to try to sell as a parts car? Do people buy these for parts?

Dual-Mass Flywheel to SMF conversion experiences?

Hi, looking to convert to a single mass flywheel on my 2001 S60. Does anyone have any experience on is this a good idea or any tips on how it's done? Doesn't have to be the same car, any thoughts are welcome.

For some more context: I have to drop the transmission and am on a budget, but still want to switch as many things as possible.

Bluetooth help

2019 S60 with Sensus & B&W, I fitted a Anyfar fullscreen upgrade and everything works as it should when the car is connected to my phone (Android) and to the unit playing everything through Bluetooth.

The thing is I want to listen to my music through USB (for quality) and use Android Auto for navigation and phone. This worked fine with the factory connection and my AAWireless connector. So I had music playing via USB, phone through speakers and Navigation would interrupt and play through speakers.

I connect the fullscreen unit and my phone is connected via BT to the car but whatever I do I can't get navigation to play through the car, phone does but navigation comes through my phone... I have tried every setting I can on my phone but no use. I have connected my phone via BT to a small speaker and the navigation comes out of that fine, frustrating!

I think it is the BT connection from the unit which is the issue, after all it is working as designed and it seems my workaround is to use the small BT speaker if I need navigation unless someone can help?

Simple Puddle Light Upgrade. Other Simple Ideas?

Driver & front passenger side door. Sharp, crisp definition.
Bright. Got off satan's app Amazon for $30. Installed during a 15-minute break from work. Any other ideas for a cool look/feel, inside or out? Bought mudflaps, as I was mostly concerned with sling from tire dressings and stuff and also thought they’d give a sporty vibe, but I’ve been using dark side x CarPro and there’s little to no sling, so long as I let the tires like cure outside in the Georgia heat for a couple hrs. I also elected not to have dealer install them bc I went to YouTube university; they’ve been riding around in my trunk since April. 🚮

Buying a used s60 good idea?

I’m torn between buying a used 2019 Volvo S60 T5 with 74,000 miles and a clean title for $16,500. I’m leaning towards either a Volvo or a Mazda 3 2019 with 89k .but I’d love to hear your guys’ opinions.

Should I take this deal?

Hey y’all I’m currently in the market for a Volvo s60 and I’m deciding between the 2022 b5 momentum awd (65k miles @ $20k) and the 2022 t8 recharge (44k miles $25k). The t8 is in the color i want and has solid mileage but it’s bordering the amount i wanted to spend on a car. I was just curious if y’all think it’s worth it to just spend the extra $5-6k on the higher trim. I got the dealer to take some money off, but they weren’t budging for more because it’s a week away from going to auction and at a decent discount already.

Did the dealership put in the wrong tire size

I have a 2016 Volvo s60 inscription and it uses the titania wheels. When I search up what tires they use it says that it uses 235/40R18 tires, however, on my car I have 235/45R18 tires? Is this wrong or can they take two different kinds of tires.
