I want to watch content, but have no VPN

Ive been wanting to get into the Dofus shows and comics, but as someone in the USA resources are insanely limited to me on what I have access to and what I don't have access to.

Where can I watch the Dofus movie and the show?

Where can I read more into the lore and stuff, and find these characters outside of the games?

Please help!

Yugo and his brothers should be more stronger.

Today I took some time to look more closely at the Krosmoz lore and I realized that Cornu Mollu is the son of Iop and Sadida, which is forbidden since it would break the balance of power, as a child of two gods would be stronger than both of them combined. So why aren't Yugo/Adamai and his other siblings as powerful as Cornu Mollu? They are basically the children of two primordial gods who created the Krosmoz, one being the greatest source of Wakfu in the universe and the other the greatest source of stasis?

Hi, everyone! I have a question: Do you think that Sufokians could improve their mech suits to be similiar to Huntress's suit from Subverse?

We know from S2 that Rushu was able to create his armor by using 3 Sufokian submarines. Maybe Sufokians could use his disgarded armor as a bluprint for a faster and more efficient armors? I also think that they could sell it to the inhabitants of the World of Twelve. I would think that Huntress's armor design could be good for a female Eniripsa

Help getting back into Wakfu after 10+ years

Hey everyone! Feels great to be back. I have no idea how active the Reddit community is these days. Back in my time I spent countless hours on the official Wakfu forums, but I don't even know if those are still active either.

Anyway, I’ll try not to make this too long (it will be for sure). I basically grew up playing Wakfu back around 2012. Recently I got an email saying my account was going to be deleted for inactivity, and it turns out the account linked to the email was empty while my old accounts with all my characters had already been deleted years ago. Pretty sad honestly. I never missed an event back then and had tons of items that probably aren’t even obtainable anymore.

I had a ton of characters, more than one of every class, but I rarely got past level 50 or 60. Only one ever reached level 100, a Masqueraider that I absolutely loved playing.

So yeah, I’d really like to come back. This time I’m dragging my girlfriend into the game with me. She’s not much of a gamer though, and I’m worried the repetitive farming loop might scare her away after a few hours (or minutes).

That’s why I’m here with a million questions because I’d like to start on the right foot and have all the info ready beforehand. I’d REALLY appreciate any feedback you guys can give me. I’m not expecting anyone to answer everything because I know it’s a massive wall of text, but even short comments would help a lot.

  1. About the current state of the game

From what I understand there are no longer language or regional servers. Neither of us minds speaking English. Which would be the best server?

Are there still monthly subscriptions that let you level faster? I always hated that pay to win feeling. How expensive is it nowadays?

Will we have to do a lot of early quests separately or can we play together pretty quickly?

Is the game still as slow when it comes to leveling, farming gear, and leveling professions, or has it become smoother over the years?

How dependent from the professions it is now? It used to be such a boring mechanic, literally a "clicker game" for hours... Just to get good bread to heal you faster to be able to fight faster.

  1. How does the multi character thing work now?

Back when I was a kid my friends and I used to open two Wakfu windows at the same time to play two accounts together since we couldn’t afford subscriptions for multiple characters.

Is that still a thing or not anymore? Is it even worth doing for us?

I remember they added the "sidekick" system at some point, but the only free one was this incredibly boring Knight dude with barely any attacks. Then the elemental sidekicks rotated every month, which was awful because you’d level one up and then lose access to it until it came back later.

  1. Which classes should we pick?

The goal is just to play together whenever we both have time and level side by side, so ideally we’d want two classes with really good synergy.

I know she’ll dislike having to “study” a class too much to play it properly, but she’d dislike even more feeling weak, useless, or just uncool in general. Honestly though, I always thought every Wakfu class was cool as hell. Their designs and concepts are amazing and I loved both the animated series and the comics.

As for me, I actually enjoy learning complex classes, but what matters more to me is feeling like I picked something genuinely strong that will let us experience all the game’s content properly instead of constantly thinking “damn, I should’ve picked that other class that does the same thing but better.”

I don’t really care about choosing my favorite fantasy wise (although it would be pretty nice). I care more about actually being able to enjoy all the content around level 50+ and 100+, which I never really got to see.

I’ve already looked at some tier lists but opinions seem all over the place.

Just to be clear, we care absolutely zero about PvP. Our goal is pure PvE and being as self sufficient as possible without relying on other players. So ideally we’d want one insanely strong damage dealer and one really solid support so we can basically handle the game with just those two characters and our sidekicks (I assume the free Knight sidekick still exists).

Anyway, enough rambling. Hopefully I didn’t bore you guys to death. Maybe this helps though: I can give my thoughts on the classes I used to play back in the day so anyone interested can get a better idea of my tastes and maybe help me finally find that perfect class that I’ll ACTUALLY get to level 200 someday. I’ll also throw in some predictions about what my girlfriend might like.

Eniripsa: the support king. Never made much sense for me because I played solo like 90% of the time. I think both my girlfriend and I could potentially find it pretty boring, but I know they’ve always been extremely strong and almost mandatory. I vaguely remember some kind of “anti healing” mechanic where healing enemies would damage them instead, and honestly that was super cool.

Enutrof: what an insanely original class both visually and mechanically. Using the Drheller pet, merging with it, I think it even boosted loot drops from fights... but let’s be honest, playing an old man doesn’t exactly feel epic. I kinda like it, but I doubt my girlfriend would.

Iop: the classic knight role. Single target air builds, then fire and earth for AoE stuff. Really strong in PvP. Very simple and eventually I get bored of the lack of complexity, but honestly my girlfriend might love it for exactly that reason. Strong, simple, cool looking.

Cra: I remember it being annoying whenever enemies got too close because keeping distance against some mobs was rough. Pretty basic overall, you understood the whole class almost instantly. Basically just ranged DPS. Could potentially work for my girlfriend too, kinda like Iop but from range and the complete opposite vibe wise.

Feca: actually the first class my girlfriend immediately liked visually. Honestly the design is gorgeous. Super tanky and able to buff allies defensively. Personally I don’t really see the appeal though. Being tankier just makes fights take longer and slows progression down. Feels way smarter to have one support/healer and one DPS.

Sram: insanely cool, seriously, but I don’t really see it working in a duo. Feels too selfish. Mostly single target damage, invisibility, traps, that kind of thing.

Sadida: really unique concept. Back then it focused heavily on building an army of dolls with different roles, but I’ve heard it changed a lot. I don’t remember poison mechanics at all. Apparently it’s pretty strong now, but I already played it a lot and for my girlfriend it might be too complicated. I remember it being one of the hardest classes to understand properly.

Sacrier: one of my two favorites. Air for PvP and positioning, fire for damage while sacrificing HP, earth for tanking. I absolutely love the idea of a berserker tank dealing huge damage, but it always felt like other classes had better DPS anyway. My girlfriend would probably love it too and it’s simple enough.

Pandawa: what a weird class. I never fully understood it. Earth while carrying the barrel and getting drunk, acrobatic fire gameplay... but what even was it exactly? Some kind of DPS with debuffs? Amazing concept though, just not sure if it fits what we’re looking for.

Ecaflip: I’m not really into cats and I hate relying on luck for damage, but I love the idea of adapting your strategy depending on the cards you draw. Apparently it’s super broken right now, but in what way exactly? Personally I already played it a lot and neither luck nor cats are really my thing. My girlfriend would probably see it as a “too much reading babe” kind of class.

Osamodas: basically Pokémon inside Wakfu. I loved capturing monsters and summoning them. Then you could turn into a dragon too. But honestly for my girlfriend it sounds way too complicated, and I’m not sure it fits well in a duo plus sidekicks setup. Also I never fully liked how messy the class fantasy felt. Like, why does the beast tamer randomly become a dragon? Sorry to all Osamodas fans.

Xelor: one of my favorites. Very hard to understand, tons of mobility with the clock mechanics, lots of damage, lots of buffs and debuffs. My girlfriend would immediately give up the moment she has to study the class.

Rogue: also one of my favorites. Absolute map control with bombs. Air was more utility focused and earth had the gunslinger playstyle. I really like classes where one element feels more “situational” utility wise like air Rogue or air Sacrier. Maybe there are better examples. It makes building your character cheaper and more flexible because it doesn’t feel like you’re completely wasting an element since you still use it situationally.

Masqueraider: my absolute favorite without question. The whole concept was adaptability. Water for healing and single target, air for mobility and positioning, fire for AoE. It sucked that you usually had to abandon one element to make more efficient builds though. Apparently it’s really strong nowadays. I don’t remember it being that way at all. It felt more like a class that was decent at everything but master of nothing. There was always another class with better single target damage, better AoE, or better frontline potential.

Foggernaut: difficult, unbelievably cool, but it really started shining at higher levels once you could place more rails and fully control the battlefield. Moderately complex. Maybe because the design and gameplay loop are so cool my girlfriend could actually end up loving it.

Eliotrope: I know absolutely nothing about it. I assume portals everywhere by default. Probably difficult. Definitely a DPS class, but I have no clue how good it actually is in PvE compared to other classes or whether it brings buffs and debuffs too.

Huppermage: same thing as Eliotrope, except it feels more unnecessary or repetitive to me for some reason. Like, even the name sounds kinda generic and lacking personality. Hopefully I’m completely wrong.

Ouginak: also know nothing about it. Isn’t it basically an angry Pandawa? From what I understand it’s more like Iop, pure damage but with more of a bad boy vibe.

That’s everything. Sorry again for the absurdly long post, but once more, literally any little comment or opinion would help a ton. I’m genuinely so happy to be back to the game that probably defined my childhood more than anything else.

to this day i still don't understand why nimoda and yrehn were redesigned to look like children when in the story they are supposed to be adults. the elante looks a little bit too fancy, so that's one thing i'm glad they simplified. and karn's proportions could have been modified and he could have been made to look a little older, plus his shoulder pads could have been slimmed down, but i loved the design on his eyepatch as well as the highlights in his hair. plus, yrehn and the elante were supposed to FUSE????????WHY DIDN'T WE GET THAT????????

Question regarding "ogrests primordial dofus"

Im currently watching wakfu, im on the 2nd OVA episode and echo just mentioned something about "the sixth ogrests primordial dofus clashing against the six eliatrope dofus"
And this confused me
I know ogrest had gathered the 6 dofus at one point at the top of his mountain, but i thought they were THE six dofus
Whats the difference between them? The six eliatrope dofus have the eliatropes and dragons in them, but what exactly are ogrests dofus then?

Ive also got a few general questions if you wanna answer them(id prefer if you didnt spoil plot details past the 2nd OVA episode, if its unavoidable just say when it ends up being explained)

-what exactly is the difference between them 6 eliatrope/dragon pairs and the other eliatropes(and dragons?) that lived on the eliatrope planet?

-i remember hearing mention of the world of twelve having their own dragons, but how exactly does that work and whats the difference between them and the eliatrope dragons?

anywhere to watch wakfu (french w english subtitles) ?

the current site i'm using has the french audio, but the english subtitles are the english dub word for word. is there anywhere i can watch the show that lets me read what they're saying in french word for word instead? for free, preferably, as the streaming service i use has everything i could ever want to watch, and i don't really want to pay just to read some slightly different words. i will if i must though, the hyperfixation is VERY strong atm.

Question about the dofus

Hi, so i recently started rewatching wakfu(i watched season 1 and 2 alot and loved them years ago and wanted to rewatch and watch all the new material aswell)
Ive just finished the wakfu manga and am now on the first episode of the OVAs
My question is about how the dofus got to where they are now? Because at the end of the manga we see that joris had all of them and stored them somewhere in bonta(?), but now suddenly in the ova the dofus are scattered again and stuff? Does this get explained properly or was it some kind of retcon or can someone explain what happened(preferably without story spoilers past the first episode of the ovas)
