Protect warriors is not the best option because of the icc debuff. What could i do to be useful and strong tank? I play on lordareon

Is anyone interested in sharing any techniques they've found to make money? I just got done farming for hours over the past couple weeks to make like 300 swift pots thinking theyd sell decently. I was sorely mistaken.

I never see any conversations being had on Warmane. Like I've witnessed literally zero banter, and I've been looking. I leveled a horde character and all I saw was the same people spamming for their guilds and ICC groups on like a 30 second cooldown. When I tried to talk to people in trade chat and whatever that world/global chat is called, I was completely ignored every time. The chatbox is just a nonstop torrent of spam. It was one of the most lonely private server experiences I've had. Is Alliance side where all the fun people are?

I can't really find any guide on dueling or 1v1's on Frost Mage and tbh it's annoying. Tried dueling on Blackcock and obviously I couldn't even do one thing because those players are way too good. I'm too lazy to level a mage on Icecrown (I play on Lordaeron) and duel people and then learn from it. Nibbai's guide on YT didn't really help (I think those players he was dueling were just terrible. Any tips? All I can deal with is a mediocre Ret Pala and Preg. It sucks because I find mage very hard to learn (I was able to play SPriest and Feral very well tho).

A bot made by Warmane would give us two functions we cannot create without Warmane's help.

Both of which I would pay for.

#1 We can't access the armory API via script. It overloads the site. So having a bot we could do gear/spec lookups on potential raiders would be awesome. And we would be paying for our impact on the database.

#2 We can't see when Wintergrasp is happening outside of the game. So having a bot that could announce in Discord when Wintergrasp is going to happen would be awesome.

Hey guys, I just hit level 80 on my Unholy Death Knight! I have 23 Coins and 20 Points to spend. Should I trade the Coins for gold to buy BoE items, or save up for a BiS item instead? Also, what should I pick up from the Vote Shop?

​If I convert Coins to gold, would it be worth buying Blood DK tanking BoEs so I can get instant dungeon queues to farm Emblem of Triumph (since I want to get the 4pc T9 set for Unholy)? If so, which BoEs and Vote Shop items should I prioritize for Blood Tank vs. Unholy DPS? Thanks!

Hey guys, i have been playing on warmane for a few weeks, currently about to reach level 70 with my first character (warrior orc), but heard that warrior in particular isn't really in demand for raiding, due to the fact that there' a large quantity of them.

So i wanted to know which classes are the most in demand for raiding, so i can reroll another character in case i have a hard time getting into raids with my main char.

Would be happy to know your suggestions!

I just levelled up to 80 as a new player on Icecrown, and played my first Warsong Gulch. From what I could tell, about half the players there are geared with Best in Slot, with Shadowmourne and other gear in that kind of bracket.

Is there no matchmaking or anything like that? It seems I would need to get thousands of extra GS before I can do anything whatsoever, which I feel isn't so fun. I also feel like it's weird I can buy wrathful gladiator gear immediately, I thought there was more progression in PVP gearing.

I also appreciate if you can let me know if the situation on Onyxia is the same or not, for a new player. Thank you!

Hey guys, I’m playing on my first tank and it’s my first time actually improving my GS and raiding. I have a 5.5 GS Blood DK, but I’m really struggling to get into ICC groups. Even after watching videos of the fights, people whisper me completely different instructions and get annoyed when I don’t already know their exact version of the tactics. It feels like every wipe gets pinned on me even though I’m still learning.

I’m confident with my class and I can hold threat. I just wish I had someone patient enough to teach me instead of getting mad the moment I make a mistake. My question is: will I eventually see success if I keep trying, or should I just respec Unholy and take a simpler path where I don’t have to deal with all the tank mechanics?

Honestly, I just want to kill the Lich King on 10 normal and retire my character.

Is blood dk dps viable? i'm using it in dungeon and it's doing decent single target, i know that nobody's gonna invite me to raid because "you don't provide 13% magic dmg debufff cuh" but i'm really curious as if it's possible to perform good as blood dps in raids, i which this cominity was more open to meme specs tho

I would like to know how they perform against each class(or generally) in each expansion from vanilla to wotlk

Hi there,

I main a prot warrior on Onyxia and really enjoy doing pve with it and will start pvp soon. Recently, I created a rogue as an alt so I could solo-queue PvP whenever my friends weren’t online.

However, after investing a lot of time in this rogue, I’m starting to wonder whether it was a pointless effort. I’ve leveled it up to 80, geared it up, farmed the full Eviscerator set and a few Deadly Gladiator pieces, yet I still get absolutely destroyed in both battlegrounds and arenas.

At this point, I’m wondering whether I should’ve simply created the rogue on Blackrock instead.

The problem is that I actually enjoy leveling and gradually progressing a character. Learning how to play it in the process, etc... However, being handed an instant level 80 with a complete PvP setup feels like this whole Onyxia grind is wasted.

So I have a few questions:

• Is there any practical reason to level another character on Onyxia if I intend to use it exclusively for PvP?
• Can you completely disable cross-realm pvp? Getting matched with kitted icecrown premades is absolutely insane to me
• Since Blackrock doesn’t have Wintergrasp or VoA, does Onyxia offer a better or faster long-term gearing path?
• How much meaningful gear progression is there on Blackrock after creating an instant level 80?
• Would it make more sense to test unfamiliar classes on Blackrock first, then level them on Onyxia only if I really enjoy them or decide that I also want to PvE?
• Is the most sensible approach simply to play PvE/PvP characters on Onyxia and keep strictly PvP-only characters on Blackrock?

Anyone playing on both Onyxia and Blackrock?
