Some 3d printed models. Happy with the result. Maybe not all the best color choices or too much rust effect...

I'm still kinda disappointed we didn't get a season 2 themed set, I'd have liked to add the ncr power armor to my collection if nothing else.
From whiskey to bourbon. Cram to Blamco. Nuka cola to nuka cherry/orange and dark, Etc.
Medical consumables will follow suit later when I get to it. They are meant to be bundled together to create "Roleplay-like" loot markers.
Hi everyone! Long term lurker, first time poster. I run a Fallout miniatures community on Facebook and wrote this guide as a resource to keep all of the news and questions in one place for players looking to catch up or get started with the game, hopefully you'll find it useful too.
There's been a lot of questions about the new edition of Wasteland Warfare so I thought I'd write up this guide. Please let me know if you find it helpful and if you have any other questions comment them below and I can add them to the guide.

What is Fallout: Wasteland Warfare?
Wasteland Warfare is a skirmish miniatures game set in the Fallout universe and published by MODIPHIUS. Build and lead a crew of Brotherhood of Steel, Raiders, Super Mutants, or Survivors as you generate and explore a wasteland, fight or trade with its inhabitants, recruit new members, and complete quests.
What's new in Second Edition?
Second Edition brings a lot of new changes to the game. It is focused on solo/cooperative campaign play, with the option for PvP games. It's designed to be more accessible for new players with more streamlined setup and a lower component count (no unit cards, fewer tokens and dice types) whilst boasting a more comprehensive map campaign and character progression. It also has a new enemy AI system with rules for stealth.
How do I get started with Wasteland Warfare?
There are two starter sets. The Into The Wasteland starter set (https://modiphius.net/products/fallout-wasteland-warfare-into-the-wasteland-starter-set-dogmeat-with-goggles?ref=FBGROUP) is designed for players with an existing collection. It contains all the rules, dice, tokens, and terrain required to play, alongside rules for Creatures and Create Your Own Hero (plus a multipart plastic kit for making four custom Vault Dweller miniatures).
The Warbands starter set (https://modiphius.net/products/fallout-wasteland-warfare-warband-starter-set?ref=FBGROUP) is designed for newer players who are looking to start or expand their collection. It contains the same core rulebook, core reference book, dice, tokens, and terrain as Into The Wasteland, albeit without the Creature and Hero rules/minis, plus 22 preassembled PVC Survivor and Super Mutant miniatures.
You receive PDFs of the rules immediately upon preordering either of the starter sets.
What factions will be playable on launch?
Brotherhood of Steel, Raiders, Super Mutants, and Survivors will be playable in the core rulebook, with rules for enemy Creatures in the Creature Reference book. A companion book will be released shortly after launch to expand to all major factions and creatures.
Can I try out the rules?
Yes, there is a free Quick Start Rulebook for both Into The Wasteland (https://modiphius.net/products/fallout-wasteland-warfare-into-the-wasteland-quickstart-pdf?ref=FBGROUP) and Warbands (https://modiphius.net/products/fallout-wasteland-warfare-warbands-quickstart-pdf?ref=FBGROUP) which gives you an introduction to the rules and a starter scenario to play through.
What else is available?
New miniatures for Survivor character Nate, Super Mutant characters The Ravager and The Mutt, and custom male and female Vault Dwellers will also be available on release, as well as bundles for both starter sets. Some of these minis are already included within specific starter sets. (https://modiphius.net/collections/new-arrivals/Fallout-All-Brands?ref=FBGROUP)
When is Second Edition due?
Preorders are live now with a release date of November 2026.
What else will be released for Second Edition?
A companion book with faction rules for Enclave, Institute, NCR, Caesar's Legion, Minutemen, Railroad, Children of Atom, and Cult of the Mothman has been announced.
New miniatures for male and female Survivor heroes, Deathclaw, Feral Ghouls, Radroaches, Radrats, Mole Rats, Mole Rat Brood Mother, Honey Beast, Wolves, Cazadors, and Giant Ants have also been announced.
What is compatible between 1st and 2nd Edition?
Second Edition won't use any of the cards or tokens from First Edition. The Accuracy, Armour Penetration, and Damage dice remain the same, but the Skill die will be replaced by the SPECIAL die and the Armour and Effect dice won't be used at all. All the miniatures will be compatible. Previous expansions will also not be compatible, as the rules have changed significantly (although a lot of the rules from Into The Wasteland and Into The Vault have been incorporated into the new edition).
Will the app support Second Edition?
Yes, the app will be updated with all Second Edition content upon release in November. All First Edition app content will be made available for free on the Web App at this point.

Hey all me and a mate are getting into the game and prefer to play skirmish games and im wondering which is the better game to play for that. Wasteland warfare second ed or fallout factions?
I tried out the QuickStart rules for Wasteland Warfare Second Edition recently using the junkyard terrain I recently finished.
I tried a very aggressive approach to clearing out the Mirelurks and suffered for it, the game gives you a lot of tools to tackle the enemies (aiming against tougher armour, distracting them from your softer units) that you need to use to succeed. The Threat and Priority rules seem like they’ll be really cool ‘resources’ to manage in the game.
It definitely benefits from having far fewer icons and dice rolls to cross-reference, the experience is streamlined without losing too much granularity.
I’m excited to try out more!
I don't totally love the end result of the luffa tumbleweeds, but I love how the desert scene came out. Always happy with the Nightkin poses.

Had lots of fun painting my favourite robot in the Mojave, first time doing weathering on a mini as to fit the fallout universe. I usually go for a more clean look for my Warhammer minis so this pushed me out of my comfort zone but I think it came out pretty well!
This one was fun to paint, not as difficult as I originally thought.
So card sleeves can be reused. What do think about this idea?
See Mirelurk example card.
Hey Friends!
First post here :)
I got my hands on most of the unit card packs, the into the vault expansion, the into the wasteland expansion, homestead, RPG expansion and various minis.
I also bought into fallout factions.
My question now is:
Does it make sense to transition to 2nd edition?
It definitely looks awesome but I am afraid that I can't use all my hoarded stuff.
Or can I use the 2nd edition starter maybe as a supplement?
Thank you all in advance!
I joined the hobby of mini painting a few weeks ago and I’m hooked already! Super mutant warband is growing!
The pre-order for Fallout: Wasteland Warfare's second edition is live right now!

A place to share your impressions from the new rules, compared to 1.0 rules. Remember to mention the way you play(ed): solo, pvp, battlemode, wasteland exploration, vault crawl, settlement mode, etc.
This really makes things ramp up really quick and honestly is more dangerous to a player. If you want things to be even less reactionary have situations where the enemy turn is first in addition. I've ran through a few first rounds of the quick start and it does change the feel of the combat flow.
