So I dropped my Datejust (Champaign dial / gold bezel ) at my brothers house. Slight scratch on crystal and small chip top of bezel. An independent shop said $1k to fix bezel and $500 for crystal. Would you trust an independent shop or should I send to Rolex ? I’ve heard Rolex doesn’t fix bezels only replaces in which case would cost much more obviously. What is the best move ?

My First Attempt at Dial Production!
I tried for the first time to produce a dial I had previously designed using my own laser CNC.
My first attempt, I masked a piece of pure copper and used the laser to remove the mask and create the design. However I increased the speed too much and couldn't adjust the size properly, so it turned out a bit flawed and not very clean. I will try again very soon to get it right and share the result.
Besides that, I've almost finished the case design, and it will look roughly like the render I've attached. Before production begins, I'm curious to hear your opinions on the case.
Finally, after some criticism, I'm undecided about whether to remove the leaf pattern on the dial. Should the leaf pattern remain?

I just purchased this... Watch from a guy who had it built by FrankenFarm. I asked if he had documentation the build...he referred me to FrankenFarm who sent me these photos. The last photo bummed me out the amplitude is low and the beat error high. The seller told me that it keeps great time and that I should just wear and enjoy the watch. What say you?
