Ad block not working on Youtube

I tried out the built in adblocker and it was great for every site other than youtube, I get the 3 video pop-up and then get locked out unless I turn it off. Is this a filter issue or just a general issue with the built in adblocker?

Very high RAM usage

I switched from Brave to Waterfox 6.6.13 and noticed it's burning through RAM very fast. On the screen above both Waterfox and Brave are opened in the background, with the same 3 websites open (YT playing music, Reddit and Facebook), but Waterfox using almost 3Gb RAM and 2x CPU load while Brave using just a little over 1Gb. The difference is even bigger if I open 10-15 tabs, makes me grateful for 32Gb RAM I have.

Is this normal, or is there something wrong with settings? I don't remember Librewolf using that much RAM when I tried it shortly. I use built-in adblock by Waterfox and built-in Brave shields, Win11.

Waterfox nuked my profile. Plz help

This just happened to me I lost all my passwords . It "forgot" or lost my waterfox profile, made me re enter my FIREFOX credentials ( Why oh why? I am on waterfix to get away from crappy firefox)

And now my entire old profile is lost , gone , deleted. All my passwords etc. I am speechless.

Can I reimport that old profile?

I see when I look under connected services My old sign in for FF, something called firefox 140, my new WF sign in. Old WF proflie ,which I use extensively is not there.

why did they randomly change the options like this? didnt you used to be able to just use the firefox search? or waterfox without it being private

The browser automatically updated itself and now all of my history and saved passwords are gone. How to resolve?

The browser auto updated itself and all of my personal data is gone. Is there a way to restore them?

Edit: I searched the app data and waterfox data seems to there in both local and roaming. Is there a way to restore everything from here?

Adding Startpage to Search Engines

  1. Click on the three bars on the right-hand side.
  2. Click 'Settings'.
  3. On the left-handed side, click 'Search'.
  4. Scroll down to Search Shortcuts
  5. Click 'add', a new screen will pop up.
  6. Name it 'Startpage'
  7. In the URL, paste in: https://startpage.com/sp/search?query=%s
  8. Leave the keyword space empty, click 'Add Engine'
  9. Scroll back up, set Startpage as your default search engine.

Some additional optional moves are removing the new search engines or removing Waterfox and going to Librewolf.

Waterfox does not support passkeys?

I was trying to use a passkey on waterfox with samsung pass but I got an error message saying that I cannot use passkeys on this browser. Does waterfox not support passkeys? Will they ever be implemented?

Private Window Saves Cookies

When I brows using a private window the cookies from the private browsing are saved on the main as if I used a normal window. It's a pain to have to manually delete them every time.

Using Waterfox 6.6.12 (64-bit).
