I’ll be in Belgrade in October and, as a sports enthusiast, I’d love to watch a sport that isn’t found everywhere. That’s when I came across waterpolo, which apparently has a long tradition in Serbia. But I’m finding it very difficult to work out which leagues the Serbian clubs actually play in and where to find a fixture list, let alone how to buy tickets. Does anyone know anything about this and could share some info? I’d really appreciate any help!

Hey - I am the new mod for this community. Been playing water polo for about 20 years now, I travel and compete, run a water polo resource website, and enjoy watching the international competitive games. The old mods were inactive so I requested to become a mod to reduce the spam posts, help promote discussion, and just try and grow the community.

A common issue I find is the chlorine levels in the pool causing paint in the eyes. Usually, saline (sodium chloride) helps to clear the eyes out (or eyedrops).
However, when it doesn't work, an experienced coach reccommended putting a small amount of Milk in goggles and then putting them on for about 30 seconds.
Despite being skeptical, it actually works - cleared the eyes up relatively quickly and laste for 7+ hours after.

I really want so much more athlete jobs like Swimming, badminton, and make so much more. Me personally really want the swimming career cause its a subject in school in game and its not on athletes!!! Please make more!!
How does your team/club structure their scrimmages during practice? Is it as close to game like as possible, is it slower paced and more controlled, are there different versions the coach throws at you?
For example a type of scrimmage I’ve tried is a permanent man up one where there’s 5 caps of either color and one red cap player who is always on offense meaning one team is always on a 6-on-5 so working that counterattack and in a half court situation working on setting up and executing the 4-2 power play setup.
Are there any other types of scrimmages you’ve enjoyed or thought was helpful as a player or a coach?

My daughter has been playing for a couple of years now and just started ay the high school level. Our local club team is new (less than 3 years old) and the coaching is very hit or miss (we're not a big market, so there's not a lot of experienced coaches to draw from).
As a result, we get to be on the receiving end of players who have been coached on how to pull suits/legs/arms/etc, but our kids are left trying to figure it out on their own (also, how to counter it). The refs are also pretty green, most of the time, so the typical things you'd do to draw attention to such play doesn't help.
Are there any resources we can utilize to learn these skills? I know about Shaquatics, but he plays cleaner than the kids we're playing against 🙃.

Alas, here I am, posting about those things. If you don’t care about YAWPA (Yet Another Water Polo App [actually, multiple]), please skip :-). I really wanted to enlist AI to help me with this, but it insisted on starting the post with “I built an app” - a kind of worn-out intro.

I just needed some advice for something involving girls waterpolo since I am going to be doing it for the first time in high school. I wasn’t able to participate in sports when I was younger, so this is pretty much the first thing I’m ever doing. I don’t have good endurance and I can barely last for a long time during a match when I was at a summer camp at my school. I definitely need more strength in my muscles since it is hard to shoot and tread at the same time. But anyway, I’m worried about it being the only new person there, or at least the most unathletic new person. They don’t typically judge but I don’t include myself in a lot because I physically am unable to since it’s hard to tread for a long time.
I’m stronger than most, but bad at positioning when playing set defender and often get ejected.
What are some basic tips for when pulled in on defense?
