I have looked high and low for this dress, but unfortunately, any listing I found had already been sold. I know that this is a highly sought after Vera Wang dress.

I fell in love with this dress years ago and should’ve bought it when I saw it listed online, but thought it was silly since I wasn’t engaged then. It’s my dream wedding dress and I haven’t found one similar that I love as much yet.

Can anyone help me find it?

Not sure if I want to part with it but it’s also taking up a ton of space in my closet! Paid $8k for the dress, $3k for alterations. Asking $5k! Veil was like $50 but my seamstress dip dyed it so it perfectly matches the dress. Will throw it in for free!

Selling my vintage silk wedding dress from Allegra’s Vintage Bridal NYC 🤍

Hi WedditNYC! I recently had a change of heart about my wedding dress, so I’m looking to sell my original dress and would love for it to go to another NYC bride!

I purchased it from Allegra’s Vintage Bridal. It’s a true vintage gown made from silk satin and off the shoulder with a train. I unfortunately don’t know the exact designer, year, or history of the dress, but it has a really gorgeous, classic vintage look and the silk satin is stunning in person.

The dress has never been worn or altered by me, other than trying it on. The vintage shop also professionally dry cleaned the dress before I picked it up, so it’s in the same condition it was in when I purchased it.

I would estimate it to fit around a street size 4–6. Just a note that the model in Allegra’s photos is definitely clipped into the dress, so it fits larger than it appears on her in the photos.

Since it has not been altered by me, there’s still plenty of flexibility for a new bride to have it tailored to her measurements.
