Dense Nugs, Freeze Dried Feeling, But Doesn’t Taste Like PGR
Recently a friend of mine gifted me two nugs of this beauty called Super Boof Cherry. Tastes okay, head’s a bit narc although strain reviews call it energizing.
It is very dry yet not crumbly. Doesn’t crumble when pressed but cracks like freeze dried strawberries. Freeze dried weed is almost non existant where I live though. Not sticky but when rolled pure, a lovely resin ring appears on the paper. Nug in the photo is 2,3gr.
I don’t want to call it PGR immediately because it was tasty, but doubt is there. The strain is known for bag appeal internet says, but most buds I saw on net are nowhere near mine. I want to know, what makes such nugs? I’m happy with my fluffy larfy yet resinous buds but also curious how the same plant can look and feel this different.
Some Toad Venom!
Cheers, yall. I got some Cold Room Drip Toad Venom from some local homies and did a review/sesh on it. There's closeups of the buds as usual.
I smoked it through my bong and vaped it through an Arizer XQ2 desktop dry herb vape to test the terps
Hope you all having a good weekend, come smoke along!

Lemon Skunk

I'm a sativa freak but also a fan of old school skunk so I was pumped to try this one. It didn't disappoint. It was specifically bred by stabilizing and crossing two distinct Skunk phenotypes with really sharp citrus and lemon-forward traits.
Bag Appeal: Gorgeous little christmas tree buds. A frosty bright green with long, intensely orange pistils.
Physical: Surprisingly fluffy, well hydrated. Not as dense as they appear. Cure is spot on, some stickiness when I had to grind.
Nose: The nose is potent. Popping the mylar, it's a mix of sweet and sour lemon citrus rinds, skunk notes, and an occasional, unexpected note of cheese. I've never had a cheese strain but I know what I'm smelling.
Taste: The taste mirrors the nose but a bit less pronounced, losing the cheese notes. A skunky, slightly sweet and sour lemon, with a fresh green herbal finish.
Effects: Out of a large glass spoon, despite it being bred for that lemon flavor, the skunk lineage takes over with a seriously needed mood boost. Basically hogtied my anxiety and locked it in a closet for a while. Very relaxing, carefree, happy high, but it still killed some pain and had me locked in place.
Overall: I'm a huge sativa guy and it scratched that itch. It's not a pure sativa, but the heavy skunk lineage and an uplifting citrus pheno work together perfectly, and made this sativa hunter happy. A mix of old school and new school, this is a strain anyone can get down with.
This product is Farm Bill compliant hemp (THCA). I'm an independent reviewer and this is my honest, personal take, not paid promotional content.

I picked up some Toad Venom from TTUSA to see if it lives up to the talk surrounding it.
Bag Appeal: The entire eighth was one solid, christmas tree style bud. Mix of light greens with darker framing and long orange pistils throughout. Heavy trichome coverage. Nicely hydrated, gummy without slime, bounce but dense.
Nose: Popping the mylar, there's a pungent mixture of sharp gassy/diesel chem, noticeable pastry/cookie notes, and a sweet lime citrus underneath. The pungency stands out, somewhere between GSC and Sour Diesel with a mint and lime edge to it.
Taste: The flavor covers a lot of ground. The nose translates into the taste with some added creaminess matching the pastry/cookie side, almost doughy. There's a strong gassy, industrial chemical note running through it, with a lightly sweet, almost minty citrus cutting through some funk on the backend. Loud and a bit swampy overall. It reads as a mix of old school and new school profiles: the chemmy, gassy funk and pine lean old school, while the sweet cookie, creamy, limey citrus leans toward more modern dessert-style strains. A few minutes after exhale there's still some sweet, creamy funk lingering.
Effects: The effects were stronger than expected for how little it took to get there. It burns slow, starts with a mental boost of energy and some euphoria, then the Animal Face side of the lineage takes over. Heavy, relaxing, but stays in content/happy territory rather than tipping into full sedation. Good fit for a low-key night in.
