Today, for my birthday, I wanted to post this image :)

Pretty sure he counts as a werewolf since I saw a couple of posts with him in this subreddit? Just finished this head for my commissioner and I'm super proud of it

So, in my city, a new coffee shop recently opened called Rougabrew (a play on loup-garou, which became rougarou in Louisiana). I tried it for the first time today, and it was really good. Figured this sub would get a kick out of it

Second round. Final one is just digital and upto date art.

A lot of lore, characters and designs have overall changes from this concept art to now.

Something I did keep though is that in human-form, which in my setting is more of a transitional mimicry-state to imitate humans and actuslly coexist in society, lycans often wear some form of shoulder protection or neckwear, be it:

- Chokers
- Large epaulets/paldrons
- large suit jacket lapels or notches
- Hoodies
- Scraves
-etc

Reason being that, while they retain a majority of their strength, the neck is far more vulnerable to other lycans while in human form; and so a subculture of eccentric “battle fashion” with visual style similar to the crazy and kinda dumb looking Met-Gala wear of modern times, was born as to not get caught lacking and get decapitated by a potential finely tuned bite to the neck when off guard.

Working out how I want to present werewolves in my setting, rendered this pair.

I want my werewolves to be creepy as fuck and lanky and ugly and kinda bald and with the presence of a smiling chimp. Real horror creatures.

Hey there!

I'd love to show you my Teen Wolf werewolf cosplay today. Even though I could have cosplayed a character from the show with just slight alterations to beard and clothing style, I preferred to create an OC werewolf instead with an individual style, character traits and backstory. Hope you like it! It was the first time I did blended FX makeup and hairwork on myself.

The pictures at the end (with the black leather jacket) are just some additional quick smartphone snapshots in night mode, as it was too dark for the regular camera so late in the day but the location was just too perfect to not capture some more pics.

The pictures were taken by a good friend of mine. Her Instagram is catching_your_moments and bilbos_adventure. She usually makes animal / dog photography, but she said a werewolf is not that different in the end. :D
