Hello, I'm relatively new to Kelowna. Still within my first year and am looking to make some friends. I enjoy paddleboarding, longboarding, hiking. But also really like D&D, anime, gaming on my PC and other homebody type activities. Does anyone know of any events or good ways to make friends out here?

My husband and I had a stay booked in West Kelowna next week to do some wine tastings for our anniversary. We canceled due to the fires. However, I am searching online and it seems things have gotten better? Should we rebook? I am coming from out of the country so I just do not know the extent to what is going on. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated! We changed to Whistler, but I’d love to rebook our plans if we are able to.
