Found this Near Aspen at Thift Store

Hey Reddit,

I found this at the ReStore near Carbondale, and like many of their finds, this is suspected to have been donated from a multimillion-dollar mansion nearby(probably Aspen or Snowmass). I called the framers to try and find some history... All they could tell me is they stocked this frame from 2001-2008, so it was likely framed in that period. They said this framing job likely cost close to $1-2k even back then. You'll notice the framer's sticker doesn't have a zip code, which also dates the framing.

The frame is 70"x54", museum-grade glass, linen backing, and the piece is suspended floating above the linen.

The art itself seems to be very mixed media and neo-expressionist in style. I wasn't really able to find any local Colorado artist that matched this style. The framing shop said their high-end clientele will often bring in art from elsewhere around the world and get it framed in Carbondale or Glenwood. There are what seem to be postcards embedded in the acrylic along with other interesting materials. It's a very layered piece and seems to be done on cardboard

It's funny because the number of guesses people have really hasn't helped narrow it down. It could be anything from a student's piece of art, a high-end studio production, or salvaged European street art. AI and reverse image search weren't helpful either.

I'm looking for any clues for the artist or tips for how to go about researching a piece like this beyond what i've done already of course. Oh and taking apart the frame and looking at the back wasn't advised... That's an absolute last resort but I'll probably just enjoy the piece and never resort to that. Thanks for any help!
