Help finding a movie..

I dont't remember much..

Just that a dude was living in the walls of a woman house.. might not have been living. Maybe even just using it to watch her?

He would inject something under her toe nail while she was sleeping.

I asked chat GPT, but that ended up pointless. just kept recommending "The Boy" 😅

Late 90s or Early 2000 psychological thriller/horror movie

I don’t remember much because it was kind of disturbing and I turned it off, also I only started watching in the middle/end

Thriller/horror where a wealthy family or couple in a big house. Two strangers, young adult white males who were also wealthy looking and maybe claimed to be neighbors (?) come into the house and kind of keep them hostage and play really messed up mind games with them.

I remember the house was large, lots of white (floors, walls, etc) and the lighting was bright. Not like a poorly lit or earthy tones horror movie. There may have also been something about a tennis court on the property.

I think it was quite famous

Trying to identify a pre-2010 movie with a young man talking to a pet turtle

I'm trying to identify a movie I've been looking for for over 10 years.

I only saw about 3 seconds of it as a child because my parents wouldn't let me watch it. This was around 2010 on DVD, but the movie could have been released any time before then.

This is everything I remember:

  • Live-action movie.
  • A young man (around his 20s) with black hair.
  • He looked South Asian/Indian (I'm not certain).
  • He was speaking English.
  • He was shirtless or partly undressed.
  • The scene was indoors, probably in a dimly lit living room or apartment.
  • He was holding or talking to a small pet turtle.
  • I specifically remember him speaking softly or affectionately to the turtle.
  • No woman was visible in the scene I saw.
  • The turtle may only have appeared briefly and might not be important to the plot.
  • My parents didn't let me watch the movie, but looking back, the scene itself may not have been sexual. I may have assumed that because I was a child.
  • My mother may have called the movie something that sounded like "Punk" or "Phoonk," but I'm very unsure about that.

I know these are very vague memories, but if this reminds anyone of a movie, even an obscure or independent one, I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

Im not sure the name, and memory is fuzzy, but any help with finding this movie?

a family with only a mom, a dad, and ONE son, moves back to the dads childhood home and he's taking pills to help with something. The mother talks to a priest who reveals the dad has a dark childhood where he murdered multiple kids and his mom buried the bodies in the basement. The son is playing with crackers in the pews in the scene with the priest. There's a scene where the dad, as a child, stabs his mother in her pregnant stomach with a 2 prong fork. The dad gets locked in the basement of the childhood home by the ghost children.

Spanish speaking with a man impregnating a drugged woman

Film should be in the range between 1995-2015 and it's one of those spanish speaking thrillers with multiple plot twists.

I don't remember much except a plot twist where there's this drugged woman that gets impregnated in her sleep by a stalker.

The stalker was bald or semi bald.

Comedy film about spies

A friend of mine wants to know the name of a movie she watched when she was little, she thinks the movie os from 2013-2015.

She descrives it as a sarcastic and parodic movie about an school of spies/police officers. The students had to pass throught a number of tests and, un each one of them, one od the characters died (always with a comedy tone) in the end, a famous actor made a cameo.

Trying to recall a horror movie off one half-remembered scene as a child

Like the title says. The scene: “a man and a woman are talking in a car, he looks out the window at something, he looks back at her and she’s gone evil somehow, big jump scare. He falls/gets out of the car and is on like a city street, I think there was a bunch of people who were possessed or zombies down the road. The woman then gets out of the car, starts crab walking down the street, and her heads turns 180 degrees.”

That’s all I got. I was a young kid, my parents were watching this, and I got ushered out but this scene has always stuck with me. This move would be from the 80’s or 90’s. The color scheme I think had a Tim Burton kinda feel to it. Thanks!

Murders in the Rue Morgue

Going back to my childhood days (60s) there was a series of Basil Rathbone movies where he played Sherlock Holmes. I can swear that one of those movies was based on the Edgar Allan Poe book, Murders in the Rue Morgue. About a man who used a gorilla to kill his enemies. But I cannot find anything that shows me that Basil Rathbone was in this movie, in fact its the other way around! Does anyone remember ever watching this?

Christmas Movie about a dysfunctional family

So I have some vague memories about this movie I saw constantly one year during the holidays. It’s a Christmas movie where some guy goes home to be with his dysfunctional family over the holidays. I think he works for a radio station or something and he has only sisters. One of his sisters in particular screamed a lot (I think the actress was a red head I’m not totally sure I’m right about this) and at some point in the film she gets locked out of the house, in the snow, when everybody goes bowling. I remember her trying to climb the windows or scale the house or something to get back in.

It has a lot of the common Christmas movie tropes and the guy ends up falling for some high school crush he runs into when he’s home. I’m not sure how helpful these vague memories are but I’d be happy to watch it again if anyone can figure out what it is!

EDIT: it’s definitely around 2000-2010 comedy.

Help me identify a forgotten WWII sci-fi B-movie (American, late 90s/early 2000s)

I’ve been trying to find this movie for years with no luck.
I’m 100% sure I watched it on Spanish TV between 2002 and 2005, late at night. It looked like a low-budget American sci-fi/action movie from the late 1990s or early 2000s.

Here’s what I remember:
It starts during World War II.
The main character is an American soldier sent to stop a scientist who is creating bio-engineered mutants for the Nazis.
The scientist isn’t necessarily a Nazi himself; he just works for them at the beginning.
The soldier ends up cryogenically frozen (or otherwise preserved) and wakes up in the present day.
In the present, he’s helped by a female scientist.
The scientist from WWII is still alive and continues creating mutants on his own.
The hero rides a Harley-style chopper motorcycle.
The mutants can talk, look mostly human, and have yellow or green blood.

Scene I remember best
The hero enters a diner/café where two customers are actually mutants disguised as humans.
He starts talking to them, then suddenly attacks one of them with a knife, cutting off his arm. The mutant bleeds yellow or green blood.
In the Spanish dub he says something like:
“I’ve got a new cocktail for you…”
before attacking.
Another scene
Before riding away on his motorcycle, the Spanish dub had him saying:
“Let’s give it mayonnaise!”
I know this was almost certainly a funny Spanish dubbing translation and not the original English dialogue.

It is NOT:
Project Metalbeast
Universal Soldier
S.S. Doomtrooper
Frankenstein’s Army
Outpost
The Frozen Dead
Captain America (1990)

I’ve searched IMDb, Google and other databases for years and haven’t found anything that matches all these details.
Does anyone recognize this movie?

80’s movie-girl visits rich grandma and gets makeover

I’m looking for a movie (possibly made for TV or Disney) that I watched in the 1980s, though it may have been older. The main character was a nerdy high school girl, possibly blonde, with braces and glasses. She spent the summer with her wealthy, sophisticated grandmother, who took her shopping, got her contact lenses, and took her to the orthodontist to have her braces removed. She returned home or back to school looking completely different. It had a wholesome Disney/ABC Afterschool Special feel.

Erupting Vulcano and metro of some sorts

I remember seeing a movie that is about a city/town near a Vulcano that goes active and erupts.

I remember a scene where a metro/mining train travels through the tunnel and then stops (probably there was lava coming and/or the electricity cuts out).

To evacuate the passengers the have to get out and eventually jump over the lava that passes under the train. The last man picks up an other passenger (probably female) and jumps with her in his arms to throw here further. He falls standing in the lava and them slowly burns/submerges and does while screaming.

I've seen in on TV, about 20ish years ago.

edit: I'm thinking it also might have one of the actors that play in Jurassic Park.

Can somebody help my friend remember a black and white movie?

This is the description they gave me, kind of vague sorry

Okay,

It's a black-and-white film.

It's about two teenage girls. The story takes place on a beach or along the coast, and there is also a ruin.

For some reason, the girls are being punished, although I can't remember why. Their punishment is that they aren't given any food. However, a woman (possibly a nun, or maybe just a young woman) feels sorry for them and secretly brings them a basket containing food and a bottle.

The older of the two girls tells the younger one not to touch it and throws the entire basket into the sea.

At the end of the film, I think the basket is seen floating in the sea, and the older girl has disappeared.

My mother explained to me at the time that the older girl had been tempted or cursed by the Devil and, in the end, received her punishment. I think she was implied to have drowned in the sea, although if that's what happened, it wasn't shown directly.

I won't be able to confirm right answer till I talk to them again to verify...thanks reddit

[TOMT] Movie – boy moves into house, girl dies in river

**Looking for an old movie (80s–early 2000s)**
I’ve been trying to identify this movie for over 20 years. Some details may not be 100% accurate, but these are the memories I have.
**What I remember with reasonable confidence:**
The movie is probably from the **1980s, 1990s, or very early 2000s**.
It is most likely an **American or Canadian** film, possibly an independent production or TV movie.
I watched it **dubbed on Brazilian open TV**, late at night.
The main character is a **young boy**, around **10–12 years old**.
His family **moves into a house**, and there he meets a **blonde girl** who is slightly older (around 12–13).
The girl already lives there (or on the property).
She has a **dark, manipulative personality** even before she dies.
She encourages the boy to do bad or dangerous things.
Early in the movie, they are near a **creek or small river**.
The girl **falls, hits her head on a rock, and falls into the water**.
The boy jumps into the water trying to save her, but he cannot.
Her death becomes the central trauma of his life.
As an adult, he has never gotten over what happened.
Near the end of the movie, he **returns to the house/the place where she died** to confront his past.
**Things I’m less certain about:**
I remember a scene where the boy drinks from a **water fountain**, and the blonde girl comes very close to him and drinks too, almost kissing him. This scene might belong to another movie.
I’m not sure whether the girl is really a **ghost** after her death, or if she is simply a manifestation of the protagonist’s guilt and trauma.
The movie felt more like a **psychological drama** or coming-of-age story than a horror film.
I’ve searched for years and ruled out movies like *Great Expectations* (1998), *Lady in White*, and several well-known ghost movies.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Old Kung-Fu Movie

Hi there, im trying to find that movie but couldn't find anything myselfe. I stumbeld upon this movie while zapping through channels at night. My estimate would be that the movie is from 70s or 80s.

From the plot i remember that it is somewhat mediveal china. There is a tournament for tge hand of the princess. The tournament taks place on some sort of tower. Every one who falls down is out. After a while the last to fighters are fight on top of the crowd.

The last two fighters are the protagonist and his mother disguised as man.

Hope this helps. Thanks in advance.

Sci-fi movie with monowheel vehicle (not men in black)

live-action sci-fi movie set in the future. think The Fifth Element, Total Recall, etc. definitely looked like it was from the 90s. i only saw a short chunk of it in passing so i don't have that much

the monowheel vehicle is the thing i clearly remember. it was driven on the street of a populated city so not any post-apocalyptic move like Mad Max etc.

definitely not Men in Black 3, it was white and sleek, not bulky and visibly metallic and mechanical like the ones in that film

Teen romance, set in NYC (a borough), late 50s/early 60s, but made in 70s/80s

Hello, I'm trying to find a movie I watched as a teenager in the 80s. It might have been an 80s movie or from the late 70s, but was set in the late 50s/early 60s. It was set in the NYC area (I was thinking Brooklyn, but not sure - may have been Queens or the Bronx) and it was a quiet-ish movie set in and around a (Catholic?) high school. It's a love story. A quiet or maybe more introverted girl falls for a brooding guy. I feel like he had a motorcycle and would pick her up from school. A little bit of a Romeo & Juliet feel (like they were from different worlds/good girl bad boy). It was not a slapstick-teen comedy. It was more of a romance and about their relationship. MOVIES I KNOW IT IS NOT: The Wanderers, Heaven Help Us & The Lords of Flatbush. These are all much more focused on groups of guys or typical baudy teen comedy. I have been googling and I swear that I just saw the title of it in a list somewhere a few days ago (sort of like a Criterion list). I wanted to recommend it to someone, but now I can't find it. My brain wants to say the title is something like "It Had to Be You" but I know that is a very different movie than the one I'm thinking of. Thank you for any help!
