San Francisco in ruins, May 28, 1906. After an earthquake at 5:12 in the morning, approximately 80% of the city was destroyed by the quake and subsequent fires. The aerial photo was taken by George Lawrence with a camera suspended on a kite, perhaps 1,000 feet above the city.

Trying to figure out where in sf this is

My dad (left) recently passed and his best friend (right) gave us this photo of the two of them somewhere in SF. My guess would be north of the park? But honestly I have no clue. Would be very appreciative if anyone can help me locate this (it would have been taken somewhere in the mid-late 70s)
