The landlord really got along with my partners and just let me have it, since he saw how much I was fascinated by it.
Link in case anyone wants to check it out (it's free to read!)
I'm going home for the summer so we're doing long distance for 3 months :(
Luckily stumbled upon these whimsy shoes in my size while thrift shopping online and just had to have them right away! ✨
For anyone interested- these are "Think! “Pensa” loafers" https://www.think-schuhe-online.de/a/slipper-pensa-schwarz-236-00-09047 they also have 'em in blue etc., but they're very expensive as originals. 🫠 I got them for 30 bucks and think I've got an older version. You can even take out the sun and moon studs and apparently swap them out for other studs. 🌞
I still need to clean them and show them a little love with shoe polish and new insoles, but I’m so happy with them and glad to have finally found whimsical shoes that fit my large, wide feet (I’m curious to see how they hold up for everyday wear- only tried them on briefly so far), and they also look better with skirts and such than standard sneakers. 🙌
Going through boxes of things from my childhood and found this amazing artifact. My mom bought it from a craft/Christmas store that went bankrupt about 20 years ago. The store was awesome - like this book.
It's a vintage chalkware plaque used to advertise admiration cigars i think. But I've wanted one for years and years. One popped up on ebay for less than $100 which so I added it to my cart. The seller like within a couple hours offered him to me for $17! I guess she was tired of it sitting around. They're usually SO EXPENSIVE I can't believe I finally got him.
Love love love how this fit turned out 🥹
tag says janmichaels but i couldn’t find any info on it, thought this sub would appreciate it :)
Perhaps this is yesterday’s news, but i find this to be particularly icky behavior
Hi all! Although my interests have always fallen into the whimsigoth category. (Art, media, music, ect..) However- my clothing does not show it at all! I think my struggle is that I am very active at work and off the clock. I also have sensory issues with jewelry in general, and most skirts and dresses are not my thing. Right now I wear leggings and pullovers with sneakers. I’m open to exploring, but I genuinely want to express more of the whimsy goth aesthetic I carry in my brain outward into my clothing!
I guess I’m mainly looking for ways to carry the whimsy goth aesthetic into an active life style.
how do you accomplish this?
Thanks in advance.
I don’t think I’ve seen anyone really talk about this hourglass that Spencer’s has. My boyfriend surprised me and picked this up for me at the mall a couple weeks ago. Working at spirit Halloween has taught me to never miss out on what the sister stores (that being Spencer’s + Spirit) have to offer. Get one before they sell out, because they do! This was the last one available
I like all sorts of layering, beads or anything really I just want it to have more depth, it can be more difficult due to it having two colors like how do i match thinfs up or how do i do it?
The skirt is tight on the waist and reaches down to my ancles, im pretty tall so its long and flowy for sure.
Thanks:3
Also styling advice on what tops would fit with ut would be nice once ur at it, so far i have a black belt i been wearing around the waist and it gives a good structure
I still need to give away some of the bazillion suncatchers I made...
