It's be funny if someone just actually made a game as simple and fun as the ad

As many times as I've played the ad before ever actually downloading and getting swept up for the past year.. It amazes me how much it is nothing like what they present in the ads. On one hand you get tired of the same daily or weekly tasks over and over again. Yet somehow you always just want to see your city grow a little further. I may have wasted a couple hundred dollars by now but idk man. I don't know if I can keep it going for years on years. What more is there ultimately to look forward to? Genuine question

Sidenote- would love to hear what's the highest amount of consecutive days someone has played the game. I feel like when gta 6 and the new cod comes out, I may have to let this go. Was as interesting chapter of my gamer life though.

Toxic State: 3194

Original state has gone to absolute shit.

We brought in a whale to help us when the original whale left for 3176. Cappy was AMAZING..until he quit and gifted his account to the absolute short man/dick syndrome Nano.

Nano still can't keep up with Cappy's original spending habits and has all but destroyed 3194, luring in other whales and alliances in hopes to build back up what he's repeatedly broken.

More than once he's had tantrums and burned members of his own alliance but it's nice to see last night he can no longer do a one hit zero.

He failed.

If someone invites you to 3194 RUN or create a dummy account for a month or two to sus out the vibes because nano can be nice and then turn on you in a second.

I happily left this state months ago because you could see the kind of man nano really is and good god am I happy I did

Why does it take 40 shards to recruit Jessie?

Just started last night and all other characters take 10 shards to recruit, but Jessie is 40. Why?

Gen 11 heroes

So I am upgrading my lancer this time as I’m in dire need of a replacement for Sonia. I know the mm is one of the best so I could also get him. And I hear good things about Eleanora. I’m aware the lancer in gen12 is really good but I can’t wait another gen with Sonia.

Shall I just do all three this gen? I can’t max three but I can get one maxed and like split widgets between the other two. What should I do and who should I focus on? Thanks!

The bit about WOS nobody wants to talk about

We all know the game is a social experiment like a modern day 'Lord of the Flies'.

I think it is easy to form friendships in the game, it designed to work like that but whereas friendships in real life can easily be assessed in face-to-face the WOS world doesn't allow that. That allows anyone to pretend to be whomever they want to be.

People play for different reasons and without usual social constraints their personality traits can become exaggerated.

Gaslighting, Bullying. It goes on. We find out on here when someone finally has enough as they vent their experiences and mods step in to remove content that breaks Reddiquette rules.

I have been playing three years now and I honestly think its got worse. I play because i enjoy the strategy and tactics, I am ftp and its not easy but i don't mind the grind.

I have friends in the game, some that i have played with for the entire time i have played but this year has taught me a valuable lesson about trust and that not everyone who claims to be a friend is. I used to think it was easy to spot the narcissists, manipulators, toxic players but its got harder and this year i thought hard about quitting. If for me as an older adult, mum of four adults and someone who thought herself as 'worldly -wise' got fooled then the younger players must really struggle. Mental health is a real issue in this game as young players come in and form friendships then find out that they have been betrayed, you start to doubt your own judgement.

I guess what i am trying to say is that not everyone is your friend, that you should be careful of whom you trust, don't give them any part of your life or personality they can turn against you or use as 'evidence' that you are the toxic one. Its easy to get drawn into 'pretend friendships' where the other player has an agenda, those that defend it as just 'strategy' I would argue that strategy to win shouldn't include destroying another individual to get ahead in a game.

Its a game. Its a game of tactics, strategy, resource utilisation and teamwork. But still a game. its not real life, don't get drawn into it to the extent it affects who you believe you are as a person. If you find its affecting who you are just turn it off.

Troop ratio 40/20/40, what is it good for?

I recently started seeing people use 40/20/40 troop ratio and I would like to understand the reason, because so far I havent seen a single explanation and whoever I asked just said they learnt it from someone else but dont know the reason for using it.

Honestly, it doesnt make sense to me unless maybe it is used by a maxed player, but even then im kinda confused about it. Maybe it is to do with T12 troop skills?

60/40/0 makes sense because the idea is it works off lancer troop skills and you snipe mm and then overwhelm remaining enemy inf+lanc numbers with your own which are superior.

50/1/49 (or similar variations) with Mia/Philly makes sense because the idea is to leverage specific hero skills to boost killing power of mm and chew threw enemy quickly and/or to give them more staying power to do the same.

40/20/40 makes no sense to me since you are just stretching yourself thin in every area and you are not even using Mia/Philly or whatever other specific hero skill combination, you are just doing slightly adjusted 50/20/30.

So I would love if someone knowledgeable would be able to provide a good explanation why 40/20/40 is so popular all of a sudden and what is the advantage of it and for which situations. Thanks!

/edit: Also, i should say that i would love an explanation from Rally/Garrison perspective and solo attacks (like for Alliance Championship or Winter Siege etc), and am more interested in the latter.

Treasure Hunter

How often this event happens? Does this appear every month? Just thinking this is a good way to earn essence stones besides bear, as low spender ofc.

Need Advice in upgrading Charms

I'm planning to completely dump my charm rss in upcoming SVS.

I did the math, i think I can make 6 charms to lvl 11. I'm planning to get all 6 marksmen charms to lvl 11.

Is this a good decision ?

I usually only focus on bear hunt and burning other cities in SVS that's all.

Experiencing racism and exclusion in a Korean alliance

Hello everyone,

I transferred to a KOR alliance a month ago, and they put me at R2. There are only 5 R2 players, and I'm one of them. I focused on my game and stayed active in all the events, but whenever it came time to distribute rewards for Fortress or Stronghold, I never got anything for a whole month. It's not even about the rewards anymore

I just started feeling like I did something wrong or like I'm being treated unfairly.

In events like Canyon and Foundry, I was right at the top. As everyone knows, activating the 20% all buff takes a good amount of diamonds, but again, this isn't about diamonds or loot. I've played in other alliances before where players who perform well get at least standard rewards, if not extra Anyway, a few days ago right after SvS ended, the president force teleported me. They moved me from my original spot and planted my new location about 5 to 6 castles away from the bear trap Is all of this normal..?

So, what do the people do now?

Now that everything is automated? What do the survivors, aside from the cook and doctor do? Sit around all day doing nothing?

Which S4 hero should my 440 mythic shards go to?

I will definitely go after Lynn through Lucky Wheel.

But I’m stuck between Lynn and Ahmose to put my hoard of 440 mythic shards towards.

Is there a point in investing in Reina when I have Mia (4 stars) and Molly (5 stars)?

I only have Flint (4 stars) and Sergei (5 stars) as my tanks… is Ahmose a better choice than Reina?

Should i keep hoarding until Hector shows up (though isn’t he lucky wheel?)

Mostly F2P here. 95% of time I’m a rally joiner.
