SSY - PEP Company warning

Hey all just a warning. I placed an order with SSY on 4/23 as of 5/23 CN to US. I have asked them for a refund or reship, at first they refused and offered me a discount on my next order and leaked my personal info in their general chat, all I simply did was respond to someone when they asked if any one has received product from vendor. It was until I finally went off in their general chat they then decided to offer a refund or reship but I have to wait until Monday and was banned from their telegram.

What really bothered me with this vendor is that they were sending me pictures with no context of them basically asking their freight forwarder what waiting for local carrier means. Saying it's on the way. And then shortly after each inquiry a "landed order" post would happen in the group chat. After days of nothing

Vendor: SanShengYuan(SSY) Sales person: SSY_Ar***

Edit: Asked for a refund and they told me to wait until Monday if the package moves, that they are not scammers, and that they need to wait for someone to be in office. So far the damage has been done with these guys and I'm clearly not getting it. Just a save face so they edit their screenshots to look like the innocent vendor.

My country has a lot of these kinds of clearance items.

I don't know if this is the case in other countries, but here it's usually calculated by the ton, and many warehouses are already full.

Wholesale platform

We are a Christmas tree manufacturer based in China. I would like to ask: on which platforms do wholesale clients, distributors, or retailers typically prefer to source their products? We previously utilized Alibaba, but the results were not ideal, so we have since discontinued our presence there. Do you have any recommendations for other platforms we should consider?

Can I buy bulk beads online at wholesale prices for my business?

I need to be clear, I'm not talking about my small business and I want buy beads in bulk online, but for those who use them often and are not able to find local providers every time they need it. There is a ton of animes coming from suppliers on Alibaba, Etsy, etc. where you can find wholesale products offered and whether that all adds up. If you've purchased bulk beads online, was it worth the purchase? What I mainly want is competitive pricing without compromising too much on both the quality of the materials and the reliability of the shipping. I've come across some very attractive listings but it's quite challenging to figure out which sellers are trustworthy and who simply has great visuals. Do you tend to commit to one supplier for a very long time, or do you move around different marketplaces according to prices and available items? And I am also thinking if the normal procedure is to order samples first before making bigger wholesale orders. I’d love to hear any suggestions from you, any opinion will be fine thanks.

The part no one talks about: suppliers are harder than products.

When I first started doing e-commerce, I thought product selection would be the hardest part. I spent weeks just looking for swholesale_suppliers
o-called “winning products”. But looking back now… it was actually the easiest step.
Whether it's Alibaba, 1688, supplier directories, or even some AI tools, you can basically find trending categories pretty fast these days. Product sourcing has become kinda standardized already.
The real hard part is actually figuring out if you can find a supplier you won’t regret later.
My process is roughly like this: for the same product, I’ll reach out to like 10–15 suppliers. Usually only about 8 reply. Out of those 8, maybe 4 will have samples or product photos that actually match reality. Then out of those 4, maybe only 2 can meet MOQ, price, and lead time at the same time. And out of those 2… usually 1 will become unstable or just disappear after the first order.
It’s basically a funnel.
Some things I learned along the way: response speed matters more than price — fast suppliers are usually more reliable. Always ask for factory real shots, product images online are pretty much useless now. Test at least 3 suppliers per SKU, otherwise you’ll get burned. Big factories ≠ better, sometimes small workshops care more about long-term cooperation.
Still not solved: how do you actually judge a supplier before spending weeks on sampling and back-and-forth? And like… are trading companies better or factories?
Reality is, you might spend a whole month just to find one supplier you can actually work with long-term.
Lately I've been trying some tools to speed this up, like AccioWork, which helps narrow down suppliers instead of starting from scratch every time. It doesn't solve everything, but it definitely makes the early chaos a bit more manageable.
Curious how others usually vet suppliers?

Looking for China womenswear suppliers who can handle high volume TikTok Shop cross-border orders

We run a UK TikTok Shop cross-border account and are scaling fast. Looking to connect directly with womenswear suppliers in China who can handle serious volume.

Here is what we need:

  • Dispatch within 24–48 hours of receiving an order
  • Ship directly to TikTok's China consolidation warehouse — we provide the shipping label, you pack and hand to the carrier
  • Able to handle 500–1,000 orders per day at peak
  • Ship using TikTok-approved carriers (Cainiao, 4PX, YunExpress or DHL) so tracking numbers register correctly
  • Tracking number provided within 24 hours of dispatch
  • No MOQ — we pay per order, no bulk commitment needed to start
  • Direct contact via WhatsApp or WeChat preferred

We are not looking for AliExpress retail — we want to go direct to the supplier or factory and build a proper ongoing supply relationship. Margins need to work for both sides.

If you are a supplier, sourcing agent, or know someone who fits this, drop a comment or DM. Happy to move fast.

Looking for a peptide supplier that can do huge amounts of orders since we're looking into expanding to the us and canada (currently only operating in europe)

We currently only work in Europe, but we are expanding our operation into the US and Canada. Demand is getting way too high, so we need a reliable wholesale supplier who can handle huge bulk orders and consistently meet our monthly quotas.

Just filling this out so the automod does not delete the post:

  • Location: We operate in Europe but need shipping to the US and Canada.
  • MOQ: We are looking for suppliers who can handle heavy volume and large bulk orders.
  • Proof: You must have up to date COAs that show testing for both purity and endotoxins.

Inconsistent shipping is a major deal breaker for us. We had a lot of issues with shipping delays with our last vendor and we really want to avoid that headache this time around. Drop a DM if you have the inventory and logistics to handle this.
