Why do so many people believe you can land in Australia on a WHV and get a high paying job within 3 business days of arriving and get rich quick?

who is telling you all this? where did this idea come from?

why do you all believe this? who is telling you this?

I am born in Australia and feel broke as. please tell me where I can land a high paying job within 3 business days and be rich in 6 months?. 😂 maybe the WHV people have a secret that the Australian citizens don't get or something.

it is bizarre to me that so many people on WHV who haven't even landed in Australia yet have this idea that Australia is some get rich quick life hack.

the only get rich Life hack we have in Australia is if you bought a house in 1990 and that's technically not a quick investment . it took 20 yrs for property to grow from $100k to $3 million. yes. lots of millionaires in Australia but all of them are cash broke and are only rich cos they are all sitting on $3 million house that they bought in 1990 for $100k.

WHV PERTH OR BRISBANE

Hello everyone!
I'm going to Australia with the Work and Holiday Visa, I'm between Perth and Brisbane, I'll go alone (I don't have friends there) I'm outgoing so I want a place with a lot of people, preferably backpackers and a lot of work (no matter what), my only goals are to make friends, travel and work a lot (to be distracted and earn money) which city do you recommend to go to? And in which months or seasons? Also, they could give me tips to find jobs where they don't scam me...
Thank youuuu

I got a trial for my 88 days in my second day on Cairns!!

A month ago I was in Sydney stressing about my visa, looking for 88days jobs. I was going through fb groups, seek, all the usual sites, sending applications one by one and... being ghosted. So I decided to stop applying like everyone else.

I built a quality email list from many sources online using the google places API, linkedin, and many others (got up to 700 only in FNQ alone), then wrote some templates emails and started automating sending them with a google sheet script.

After sending ~300 on autopilot I got a call from one hotel the automation sent an email to, they wanted me to do a trial.

Since then I've got multiple email responses of people offering me interviews, trial shifts and job offers.

This is a great strategy if you are on a similar situation and have the tech skills!

Best remote/outback regions for a WHV couple looking for entry-level work?

Hi everyone! My partner and I are planning to arrive in October/November.

We want to avoid big cities and expensive areas, and focus on remote or outback locations where the cost of living is lower.

We are hardworking, quick learners, and open to any kind of entry-level work (farm work, fruit picking, outback pubs, remote resorts, night shifts or factory work).

What remote regions or outback towns are best for entry-level casual work with accommodation included?

WHV 462 Australia – alguém está tentando aplicar hoje?

Oi pessoal!

Queria saber se mais alguém aqui está tentando aplicar para o WHV 462 da Austrália agora que abriu (ou deveria ter aberto hoje, 2 de julho).

WHV 462 (Switzerland) — did it actually open or is the system just broken?

I see “Closed” on the official page, but some people say they managed to reach payment or even submit applications today. Is this a real opening, a rollout, or just server overload/bug? Anyone who successfully lodged today, what exact time (AEST) did it work for you?
