I honestly didn’t expect feather extensions to look this natural…

I recently tried feather hair extensions and was surprised by how lightweight and seamless they feel.

I wanted extra length without making it obvious I was wearing extensions, and the result turned out even better than I expected.

Would you ever try feather extensions, or do you prefer tape-ins or wefts?

What do you guys think of this low-saturation wig color?

I think it looks best on very fair skin 👩🏻‍🦳

TikTok lied to me 😭 Why does my glueless wig look like this?

Hi everyone! I really need your help. I don’t usually wear wigs, so I could really use some advice.
This is my first time buying a glueless wig.
Link: https://a.co/d/046cmub8

On TikTok, I kept seeing people putting on their wigs and having them look so natural, so I thought I’d give it a try. But after buying one myself, the lace is VERY noticeable.
In the first photo, that’s what the wig looks like when I put it on without using anything. In the second photo, I used Ebin lace spray to make it lay down and blend better, but it still doesn’t look natural to me.
What am I doing wrong? 😭 Do you have any tips or suggestions on how I can make the lace look more natural?

Advice needed for wig styling and colour. Attempt failed.

I need cosplay/drag wig styling advice. I browsed the web for wig styling techniques.

And tried styling and dyeing one last week and the results only looked good in a few pics. Definitely not in person. Refer to pics.

I used perm rods and put the (heat resistant lace front synthetic) wig in hot water with a fabric dye (jacquard Idye poly) dissolved in that.

Attempt two must be must be finished by next Tuesday, and be shoulder length, tightly curled and red/black coloured. I will tie it back as part of the performance.

Should I start with a straight wig in the preferred colour?

A box braided wig is another option I'll consider.

Thank you :)

How do I fix this, or do I just throw it away?

I’m losing hair based on age and glp1. I started buying pony tale wigs. The first three I bought 1-2 years ago, before I knew anything about wigs. They are fake and from temu. Is there any way to save them or should I just cut my loses?

New wig and unsure of brand and quality

Hei,

So I have come across this wig and I'm unsure of its brand or the quality. I'm wondering if anyone has any kind of insight or information about it based on the images? I'm open to questions to provide what other info I can! Thanks in advance

New to wigs

Been suffering from hair loss between 2 pregnancies and now on a glp1. I don’t feel pretty in my hair and have recently started getting wigs. I also don’t have a ton of money to drop $100 + dollars on wigs so what’s everyone’s favorite budget friendly wigs? I’d like to try a I’ve ordered two synthetic off Amazon and like them but feel like they are too shiney and give off the “fake look”. Is there a way to dim that shine?

The bright orange color of this wig is absolutely gorgeous! 🧡

This is a wig I’m supplying to a cosplay group. I just tried it on, and I was honestly surprised by how beautiful the color is! 🧡
It’s a bright, vivid orange, so it’s definitely not a natural-looking color. I haven’t even styled or “woken up” the fibers yet — this is simply what it looks like straight out of the package after putting it on.
Once it’s properly styled, with the bangs and sideburns trimmed a little, I think it could look even better. It could actually be turned into a really cute, wearable wig that you could wear out casually in everyday life.

Is my wig realistic?

So, I got a wig back in June due to my hair thinning and being at an awkward length and as schools coming back around, I want my hair to grow without the constant heat. But schools literally tommorow, and now I am nervous about how fake or realistic my wig looks. What can I fix if theres anything i can fix? Heres the front and 2 side profiles. I kinda messed up cutting one side but ykw thats just more like me and adds to the bit because my natural hair is basicaly two different lengths.

Multi-Day Install Tips

One thing about me, if I install a wig I’m gonna get a few days out of it, so I wanted to share a few things I learned.

Context: These photos are from day 3 of my 4-day initial install.

1️⃣ A smaller lace front is lower maintenance. The lace section is 7” x 6” and with a wide band bonnet, it stayed flat enough overnight that virtually no touch ups are needed the next day.

2️⃣ Keep the lace seamless and prevent build up after wearing makeup by lightly wiping it with a makeup remover wipe. Add a melt band after until it fully dries to keep the lace flat.

3️⃣ For wearing the unit overnight, I found that wetting the hair, adding a little leave-in, finger combing, braiding into a single loose braid will prevent tangling and allow you to quickly style in the morning.

My favorite thing about this unit is restyling in the AM takes about 5 mins. I usually have a low maintenance daily routine (besides skincare) and ideally my wigs will save time me in the AM so I can get a little extra sleep. 😂

Anyone else have multi-day install tips?

Which of these wigs should I get? I need one asap. (I know the quality of these is not the best)

I’m going as Gojo to a convention

First 2 are listed as synthetic fibers and heat resistant and the third is fiber and heat resistant.

I’m absolutely in love with these gorgeous waves 😻

This wig is absolutely gorgeous! 😍 It’s nice and full, and the adjustable straps make it easy to customize the fit. The color is a beautiful deep brown with a very natural look.
Perfect for those days when I’m too lazy to wash my hair but still want to look put together before heading out, haha 😄

This gray wig is absolutely stunning! 🩶✨

The hair is incredibly soft and silky, with a beautiful natural shine. ✨ This color is absolutely gorgeous—I think it’s one of those shades that’s really difficult to achieve when dyeing hair. 🩶
